I find myself taking it off to play with it often. The other day I noticed that the bit of discoloration that I'd noticed earlier on the inner layers was actually around a hole. A hole that should have a pin in it securing these rings to the outer ring. So now the two inner rings are attached to the outer one by only one pin, opposite where the other should be.
