In creating an environment where everybody feels able to bring their full, authentic selves to the workplace, energy that may have been taken up with anxieties or efforts to conceal our differences can be redirected towards achieving the best possible outcomes. Whilst EDI has gradually moved up the agenda in recent years, concepts are still evolving. A previous focus on 'equality' has failed to level the playing field, recognising that individual needs require individual solutions, driving a shift towards equity as a more fruitful approach. Likewise, early approached to EDI haven't always fully considered the unique identities we hold, and an emphasis on belonging is more fully encompassing of the experiences minoritized groups. This reflective course is for organisational leaders — and those striving towards leadership — to develop their understanding of EDIB, enhancing soft skills, and providing actionable insights and tools to take back to your organisation. The interactive delivery will include plenary sessions, sharing, and breakouts to encourage open discussion, dialogue, and shared ideas, and limited spaces make for an intimate learning experience. Delegates will receive handouts to take away from the day, CPD points, and access to exclusive archival footage from IGPP on relevant topics from keynote speakers.
