OUR STORY


At Riverview Christmas Tree Farm in Canton, we are a family business that
focuses on bringing holiday traditions to your family. Opened in 1989 by Bill
and Darlene Keizer, the Riverview Christmas Tree Farm has been a staple in
family traditions. In 2016, Todd and Shari Gannon took ownership and hope to
continue their legacy for many years to come.

Now, thousands of people visit the farm each year. Riverview Tree Farm is a
place where families make memories and establish traditions. With new features
and entertainment added yearly, there's always something new to see and do. We
hope you join us!

The land itself is not without its own exciting history. Come see where American
outlaws, Jesse and Frank James made their way through the area and learn their
story.

PUMPKIN FESTIVAL

Riverview Christmas Tree Farm's Pumpkin Festival takes place the last weekend in
September and the first 3 weekends of October.

What does it cost to get into the Pumpkin Festival?

Admission is FREE! There is no admission fee to enjoy our festival. You will
only be asked to pay for what activities you choose to do or pay for the
pumpkins, food, drinks, crafts or other items for sale.



Are dogs allowed at the farm?

Yes! Feel free to bring your furry friends as long as they are friendly to other
people, are on a leash at all times and you clean up any accidents they may
have.



What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept cash, checks or credit/debit cards. We also have an ATM onsite for
customer convenience.




CHRISTMAS SEASON

Riverview Christmas Tree Farm opens for the Christmas season every year on the
weekend before Thanksgiving until we sell out of trees.

Do I need to bring my own supplies to cut down my tree?

No, we provide everything you need including saws to cut it down and twine to
secure it to your vehicle. Chainsaws ARE NOT allowed due to safety concerns.
Please do not bring one to the farm. If you need help cutting down your tree,
please ask us for help and we would be happy to assist you.



Do you have trees larger than 12 feet tall for sale?

No, we have no trees for sale that are taller than 12 feet. The large trees we
do have will no longer be available for cutting as we want to preserve the
environment for wildlife and maintain a beautiful scenic view.



How tall are the trees for sale?

The average height of our groomed trees are 6-10 foot tall. The trees for sale
have price tags on them with the height.




PHOTOGRAPHY

Riverview Christmas Tree Farm and Pumpkin Festival offer photography sessions of
all kinds taken by our exclusive photography partner.

Can I bring a professional photographer to the farm to take photos for me?

No, we work with a contracted photographer who has access to our farm year-round
for photos. Please contact her at photos@riverviewtreefarm.com to ask for
availability.



Is there a photography available for photos when you're open for business?

Yes! Our photographer will be available for photos during festival hours. Please
check with us for hours.



Can we take our own, non-professional photos during business hours?

Yes! We have several photo backdrops set up for you to take your own photos. We
just ask that you don’t schedule a professional photoshoot with any photographer
besides our contracted photographer.
