Founded in 1986, Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Academy (AIM Academy) is a

I started my program as a second year student, as I studied previously before
studying at AIM Academy. I found the school offered a warm and welcoming
ambiance with an awesome transitional schedule with the courses I needed to
take. The quality of each course was great, and the teachers were great in the
material they were teaching. The school is very understanding with your own
schedule, life circumstances and challenges. Their schedule accommodated my long
commute to class everyday. AIM Academy’s location is great. It’s in Chinatown,

My introduction to the Shiatsu and Acupuncture School came in the form of a 40
hour Beginner Shiatsu course for Registered Massage Therapists. I was hooked.

HAILEY SLAVIERO

Hailey is an honours graduate of both the Acupuncture Therapy and Traditional
Chinese Medicine Practitioner programs at AIM Academy and holds an
interdisciplinary honours degree in Arts & Science from McMaster University,
with a special focus on East Asian Religions and their intersection with
wellness. With over 15 years experience as an academic tutor, Hailey has a
passion for education and teaching. She now enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for
TCM with students at AIM Academy.


RICHARD KWAN

SENIOR ADVISOR OF THE ACUPUNCTURE AND TCM PROGRAMS, BSC, R.TCMP, R.AC

Richard has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 12 years.
Along with founding Simple Cures, Richard is also a Senior Advisor of TCM and
Acupuncture and lecturing extensively at AIM Academy. He also teaches Tai Chi
and Qi Gong classes for every level of practice offering 20+ years of
experience.


ZACHARY LUI

With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of acupuncture, Zachary
brings a unique perspective to our school. His teaching emphasis is imparting
techniques and strategies for being more productive, increasing vitality and
expanding creativity. By nurturing these skills, students develop a well-rounded
skill set that empowers them to become successful acupuncture professionals.
