Lanre Issa-Onilu, director-general of National Orientation Agency (NOA).

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has reviewed its partnership with the
United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to reposition its community, health and
environment projects to meet current technological advancement.

Speaking on Wednesday during a strategic between the management of the two
bodies, Lanre Issa-Onilu, director-general (DG) of NOA, said the collaboration

He said the reposition plan is encapsulated in the agency’s CHLEEAN community
project.

The CHLEEAN community project by NOA is a citizens-based plan focused on
addressing crime, hygiene and health, lawlessness, environment, education, abuse
and narcotics.

Commenting on the UNICEF partnership, the NOA DG said “every organisation
reserves the right to review its operation to meet with new
realities,  especially in an environment of evolving technology”.

He appreciated the work accomplished through the previous partnership between
the two organisations.

He added that “review meetings are required from time to time to assess
strategies and adopt new methods for implementing the projects”.

Also speaking, Joshi Kshitij, UNICEF chief of social behavioural change, said it
was necessary to strengthen the collaboration between the two agencies.

Kshitij added that the review of the partnership would help to identify new
challenges in the area of health and environment.
