June, 4-5, WSF World championship +110 kg named as “II International PAHLAVON
MAHMUD STRONGMEN GAMES” was held in Khiva. Within the framework of the
tournament, 16 athletes competed on six disciplines.

From 3 to 7 June in the UNESCO heritage site of Ichan Kala fortress in Khiva,
the WSF with cooperation of Uzbekistan Ministry of tourism and the Governor
Office of Khorezm province are organizing the Second International Tournament
“Pahlavon Mahmud` Strongmen Games”.

STRONGMEN & STRONGWOMEN ACTIVITY IN GREECE

October 5th, 2021 admin

Good news from Greece Strongman and Ethnosport. On 25th and 26th of September
Circus Classic 2021 hold of in Athens, Greece. Circus Strongman Experience
founded by John Boursinos and Paraskevi Stamatopoulou in association with
youth’s center Connect Your City (IASIS). The event was prepared under the
auspices of Elliniko Somateio Dynamikou Triathhlou (WSF Greece) – member of
World Strongman Federation and World Ethnosport and represented by mr Andreas
Kolettis (WSF Head EduCommitee and WSF International Referee), who was also Head
Judge at the event.

ARNOLD CLASSIC EUROPE 2021

Very important news for WSF and strongman sport in World! WSF reseived the great
support from the IFBB – the famous international federation and one of the
biggest in World. On the Arnold Classic Europe 2022 in Spain, WSF will organize
the European Championship U95, U110, +110 catergories for men & “WOMAN POWER”!

Good news from Italy. 25th of August, 2021 was born the Italian strongmen &
strongwomen federation (FISS). First strongman & strongwoman competion was held
on 4 of September. Managment of the FISS: Daniela Forzinetti – Head of the FISS,
Fabio Campeggio – General Secretary.

WSF WORLD STRONGMAN CHAMPIONSHIP U110 KG & GREAT RECORD IN UKRAINE

WSF World Strongman Championship U110 kg held in town Khust (Carpathian
Ruthenia, Ukraine) on 21 of August. More than 2 thousand spectators were watched
strongman competition. 20 athletes from 8 countries participated in the World
championship.

Strongman sports are gaining more popularity in China the past years. Although
2020 was slow year for all, 2021 has already ushered in several competitions and
several more on the way. Considering only a few years ago these types of
competitions were basically nonexistent!
