If professing your love in front of a hundred or so of your closest family and
friends doesn’t feel right for you, that’s okay.

My goal as a photographer is to capture memories for small weddings and
elopements that are 100% focused on what is true to the two people getting
married, even if that means only bringing along a few of your loved ones to
witness or no-one at all. I want to promote small weddings and elopements that
are flexible, focused on the adventure and the relationships, not the favors and
table settings. California elopements that soak in all the natural beauty around
us and leave you with beautiful, heartwarming photos to revisit and share over a
lifetime. And most of all, I want it to be fun, comfortable, and 100%
authentically you!

HEY, I’M MEG!

I’m an adventurous homebody who loves hanging out with my dog (or any dogs
really), trying to catch all the new movie releases, spending my free time
hiking or climbing around beautiful national and state parks, and listening to
Tiny Desk Concerts on repeat. I live life with my incredible husband (Zeke) and
our sassy toy poodle named Teddy.

I’ve been photographing love stories for over six years now & have learned that
I’m in love with capturing wedding days full of adventure, love, and as little
stress as possible for my fellow outdoor enthusiasts, introverts, and fun-loving
couples.

While I primarily want to capture amazing photos for you and your loved ones,
I’m here to help guide you through the process - making timelines, working
together on finding the perfect locations, offering myself as a sounding board
for wedding day questions and ideas, and, most importantly, making sure you
always feel comfortable while capturing all the moments - big and small!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


WHAT IS AN ELOPEMENT?

The term ‘elopement’ no longer refers to last minute or secretive weddings
without ‘parental approval’. They aren’t all at the local courthouse or planned
within a week. Modern-day elopements have new connotations.

Whether they’re getting married at the top of a cliff in Yosemite or in a busy
city - couples are choosing to be fully intentional about their wedding day by
keeping it intimate (usually with small groups, if any guests at all) and
authentic to who they are (i.e. skipping the reception or any traditions that
don’t feel right for them). These are couples who aren’t excited or even feel
anxious about a big wedding celebration or who choose to make this commitment in
a more authentic way to who they are outside of the norm.

have commented on how she was able to capture such happiness in all of our
photos. We rave to all of our family and friends that when she was taking our
photos she didn't just say "stand here and smile", she asked us about how we
