A.K.A. The Extraterrestrial Operations Global Relay Infrastructure and Data
Network

Welcome to the Exogrid! This is a website that I use to host my stories centered
around "Magnus", a fictional universe full of various space-faring races, their
cultures, and their problems.

MAGNUS: DOWNFALL

Downfall follows the story of Zenith, a young, highly skilled Valen pilot who
rocketed through flight school. He's living his dream by flying security for
government cargo transports. On an average day, things take a turn for the
worst, transforming his dream into a living nightmare. With his world turned
against him, he's left fending for himself in space with nowhere to go and
nobody to help him.

Downfall is currently published up to Chapter 5 as of May 27th, 2024. Expect new
chapters of consistent length on an irregular basis.

SHORT STORIES

These are great to read if you want to just dip your toes into the universe to
see if you're interested. Should all be under 12k words, so they're nice and
quick reads.

 * VSEC-92 (3000 words, ~15 minutes)
   * A brief story that establishes Zenith as a character, as well as providing
     the setup for a larger story set in Magnus. Consider this a rough draft of
     the first chapter of Downfall.
 * More to come!

SCRAPPED WRITING

Here’s some stuff I was working on in the past for Magnus, but ended up
scrapping for one reason or another. A lot of this is old.

 * Roland (3300 words, ~15 minutes)
   * Written in 2020, based around the old intentions for the story and universe
     that have been completely reworked at this point.
 * Intruder
   * Written towards the end of 2022. Has a bunch of old lore names in it that
     aren’t used anymore. Scrapped antagonist.
