STROMECTOL AND ITS DRUG SUBSTANCE IVERMECTIN

The principle of the pharmacological action of the active substance is to
disrupt the CNS of parasites. The drug blocks the transmission of nerve
impulses, which provokes paralysis and death of parasitic microorganisms.

This process is fast and extensive. Ivermectin penetrates almost all tissues and
body fluids.

The unique property of Stromectol is that it not only acts on already mature and
active parasites. It blocks the possibility of nutrients from females entering
the fetal space and thereby destroys the embryos.


INDICATIONS FOR USE

Indications for use include:

 * Strongyloidiasis;
 * Rosacea;

in the intestines, whether you take the medicine on an empty stomach or after a
meal. Within 4 hours of the drug intake, it reaches peak concentration in blood
plasma and begins to act.

 * Take each Stromectol tablet with a full glass of water.
 * Take the drug no more than once in 14 days.

   increase the load on the liver.


MISSED DOSE

As a rule, a single dose of Stromectol is taken, and the next dose is possible
only after 14 days. This drug is not taken on a regular basis, as it has many

Ivermectin is excreted by the liver, which creates an additional load on this

taking the drug are permitted to breastfeed no earlier than one week after
intake of its last dose.


POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

A characteristic property of Stromectol is that its side effects do not manifest
at once, but 2-3 days after intake of the drug. Most of them are mild to
moderate. However, they have specific symptoms:

 * Fever;
 * Allergic reaction in the form of itching and redness of the skin;
 * Eye redness;
 * Weakness/drowsiness;
 * Muscle pain.

If these symptoms appear, it is recommended to take an antihistamine medicine to
reduce the allergic reaction. However, if they get worse, you should contact a

Only in 1-2 % of cases, more severe reactions manifest, such as fever or

 * Benzodiazepines;
