CREATING NEW PROCEDURE

Web:

 1.  Go to Procedure Library tab

 2.  Click + New Procedure Template in top right corner

 3.  To start Procedure from scratch, click Blank Template

 4.  To add optional image, click circle

 5.  Add required Procedure name

 6.  Add optional Procedure description

 7.  Click Next in bottom right corner

 8.  Add Headings/fields: Select and add field type that best fits items in
     Procedure:
     
     * Check Box: Standard checkbox.
     
     * Text Field: User inputs text in field.
     
     * Number Field: User can input numbers only in field.
     
     * Amount ($): User can only input amounts ($) in field.
     
     * Multiple Choice: Add multiple items in field. User can select only one
       option.
     
     * Checklist: Add multiple items in field. User can select multiple options.
     
     * Inspection Check: Auto populates field choices with Pass, Flag, and Fail.
       User can select only one option. Notification sent for all Fail
       inspections.
     
     * Yes, No, N/A: Auto populates field choices with Yes, No, and N/A. User
       can select only one option.
     
     * Picture/File Field: User attaches image or file from device in field.
     
     * Signature Field: User enters signature in field.
     
     * Date: User enters date in month/day/year format. Click on calendar to
       find date. Option to include time of day in hour/minutes format.
     
     * Meter Reading: Add request for meter reading from Meter library. User
       enters meter reading as specified.

 9.  To add link to field, click link icon in bottom right corner of field

 10. To add picture or file, click paperclip icon in bottom right corner of
     field

 11. To delete field, click trash icon in bottom right corner of field

 12. Continue through Procedure by adding new items: new Fields, new Headings,
     new Sections, and/ or new Template (to add Procedure from Local Library)

 13. Once finished creating new Procedure, click Continue in top right corner

 14. Under Settings, add Tags to Procedure
     
     * Categories: Click in box and start typing to display already created
       Categories or to create new Category
     
     * Teams in Charge: Click in box and start typing to display already created
       Teams
     
     * Procedure Visibility:
       
       * Click Keep Private: Procedure will only be visible to teammates in
         MaintainX org
       
       * Click Make Public: Procedure will be public for MaintainX Community in
         Global Procedure Library
       
       * Under Settings, add Tags to Procedure

 15. When finished, click Save Template in upper right corner
