Nearly 1,200 participants from 154 countries took part in the latest course
Statistics of International Trade in Services 2024, aimed at enhancing their
skills and understanding of global trade trends. Covering topics from
foundational concepts to advanced methodologies, this program highlights the
growing importance of reliable data in shaping sustainable economic policies.
The largest groups of participants came from the Philippines, Indonesia, India,
and Kenya. Most were trade data compilers working in national statistics
offices, central banks, ministries of trade, and customs offices. The course is
jointly developed and produced by UNCTAD, the World Trade Organization, and the
