1. Acknowledgment
These are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of World of the Grishaverse
and the agreement that operates between You and Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177).* These
Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of all users regarding
the use of World of the Grishaverse.

Your access to and use of World of the Grishaverse is conditioned on Your
acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and
Conditions apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use World of
the Grishaverse.

By accessing or using World of the Grishaverse. You agree to be bound by these
Terms and Conditions. If You disagree with any part of these Terms and
Conditions then You may not access World of the Grishaverse.

You represent that you are over the age of 15. Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) does not
permit those under 15 to use World of the Grishaverse.

Your access to and use of World of the Grishaverse is also conditioned on Your
acceptance of and compliance with the Privacy Policy of the Eye4web
ApS(DK-35032177). Our Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on
the collection, use and disclosure of Your personal information when You use the
Application or the Website and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the
law protects You. Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully before using World of
the Grishaverse.

* Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) are the development company behind World of the
Grishaverse. If you have a question about Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177), please send
a letter to the Emperor or Grand Vizier, who are the leaders of World of the
Grishaverse.

2. Content: Your Right to Post
World of the Grishaverse allows You to post Content. You are responsible for the
Content that You post to World of the Grishaverse, including its legality,
reliability, and appropriateness.

By posting Content to World of the Grishaverse, You grant Us the right and
license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and
distribute such Content on and through World of the Grishaverse. You retain any
and all of Your rights to any Content You submit, post or display on or through
World of the Grishaverse and You are responsible for protecting those rights.
You agree that this license includes the right for Us to make Your Content
available to other users of World of the Grishaverse, who may also use Your
Content subject to these Terms.

You represent and warrant that: (i) the Content is Yours (You own it) or You
have the right to use it and grant Us the rights and license as provided in
these Terms, and (ii) the posting of Your Content on or through World of the
Grishaverse does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights,
contract rights or any other rights of any person.

3. Content restrictions
Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) is not responsible for the content of World of the
Grishaverse's users. You expressly understand and agree that You are solely
responsible for the Content and for all activity that occurs under your account,
whether done so by You or any third person using Your account.

You may not transmit any Content that is unlawful, offensive, upsetting,
intended to disgust, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise
objectionable. Examples of such objectionable Content include, but are not
limited to, the following:
 * Unlawful or promoting unlawful activity.
 * Defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited content, including references or
   commentary about religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, national/ethnic
   origin, or other targeted groups.
 * Spam, machine – or randomly – generated, constituting unauthorized or
   unsolicited advertising, chain letters, any other form of unauthorized
   solicitation, or any form of lottery or gambling.
 * Containing or installing any viruses, worms, malware, trojan horses, or other
   content that is designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the
   functioning of any software, hardware or telecommunications equipment or to
   damage or obtain unauthorized access to any data or other information of a
   third person.
 * Infringing on any proprietary rights of any party, including patent,
   trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity or other rights.
 * Impersonating any person or entity including Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) and its
   employees or representatives.
 * Violating the privacy of any third person.
 * False information and features.

Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) reserves the right, but not the obligation, to, in its
sole discretion, determine whether or not any Content is appropriate and
complies with these Terms, refuse or remove this Content. Eye4web
ApS(DK-35032177) further reserves the right to make formatting and edits and
change the manner of any Content. Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) can also limit or
revoke the use of World of the Grishaverse if You post such objectionable
Content. As Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) cannot control all content posted by users
and/or third parties on World of the Grishaverse, you agree to use World of the
Grishaverse at your own risk. You understand that by using World of the
Grishaverse You may be exposed to content that You may find offensive, indecent,
incorrect or objectionable, and You agree that under no circumstances will
Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) be liable in any way for any content, including any
errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred
as a result of your use of any content.

4. User Accounts
When You create an account with Us, You must provide Us information that is
accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a
breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of Your account
on World of the Grishaverse.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that You use to access World
of the Grishaverse and for any activities or actions under Your password,
whether Your password is with World of the Grishaverse or a Third-Party Social
Media Service.

You agree not to disclose Your password to any third party. You must notify Us
immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of
Your account.

You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is
not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark that is subject to any
rights of another person or entity other than You without appropriate
authorization, or a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene.

5. Links to other websites
World of the Grishaverse may contain links to third-party web sites or services
that are not owned or controlled by Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177).

Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for,
the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or
services. You further acknowledge and agree that Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177) shall
not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss
caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance
on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web
sites or services.

We strongly advise You to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of
any third-party web sites or services that You visit.

6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend Your Account immediately, without prior notice or
liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach
these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, Your right to use World of the
Grishaverse will cease immediately.

If You wish to terminate Your Account, You can request for it to be deleted.
Should You wish to exercise this right, You may send a message to the Admin of
World of the Grishaverse, using the account you wish to have deleted. You will
not have to provide a reasoning for wanting Your account deleted. However, You
will have to provide the email address and birth date which You used to sign up
for World of the Grishaverse; this serves as confirmation that You are the owner
of the account. If there is no response after a reasonable time, the account
will be deleted, under the assumption You left the site after Your request.

General Rules
The General Site Rules must be followed by all users on World of the
Grishaverse. Failure to follow these rules may lead to a temporary or permanent
ban from the site.

1. Respect
 i.   Hate speech and/or discrimination towards marginalised groups (by means of
      race, gender, sexuality or otherwise) will not be tolerated under any
      circumstances. Disrespect towards disabilities or illnesses or those
      living with disabilities or illnesses will also not be tolerated.
 ii.  You are not allowed to discuss or share content relating to domestic
      abuse, self-harm, sexual assault, rape, or other highly triggering
      subjects on the site. “Jokes” about these subjects are not permitted.
 iii. Individual pronouns are to be respected. Do not misgender users or attempt
      to invalidate their gender/sexual identity. Do not invalidate or belittle
      their sexuality.
 iv.  Do not treat others with disrespect for their political or religious
      viewpoints if they have been expressed. In turn, do not force your
      political or religious viewpoints on others. Such topics are to be
      discussed civilly, or not at all.
 v.   Respect the requests of graduate and student staff (the users with
      coloured names). If you have an issue with a request, please send the user
      in question a letter or contact a member of graduate staff.
 vi.  The “Gender Diverse” gender option is reserved for characters who identify
      outside of the binary. Please do not abuse this option for disrespectful
      or discriminatory uses.
 vii. Avoid getting into arguments regarding politics or sensitive issues where
      possible, especially in the chat. If you feel that an argument is
      escalating, feel uncomfortable around any user, feel discriminated against
      or feel that another user is being discriminated against, contact the
      Emperor, Grand Vizier or Captain of the Guard.

2. Behaviour
 i.   Bullying and/or harassment of other users on the site is not permitted, in
      any capacity. Do not treat others with derision, cruelty, or deliberately
      exclude or insult them. Do not actively try to hurt their feelings. (Your
      characters can have animosity towards one another IG, but make sure this
      treatment is consensual between both/all of you. Also make sure it is
      clear that this is in an IG capacity.)
 ii.  Respect others’ wishes: if they are uncomfortable with a subject and ask
      you to stop, stop. Do not keep going and trying to make others
      uncomfortable.
 iii. If you have a disagreement on the site and are unable to privately resolve
      it yourselves, please contact the Emperor, Grand Vizier or another member
      of management staff for help or mediation.
 iv.  Deliberately trying to cause trouble, controversy and provoke others
      (“trolling”) will result in a ban.

3. Creative Content
 i.    You are not allowed to write as a character from the Grishaverse
       franchise or as a character related to any characters from the
       Grishaverse franchise.
 ii.   Plagiarism on World of the Grishaverse is strictly prohibited. This
       includes uncredited copying from the Grishaverse franchise, online
       resources, and from any other users on the site in any way.
 iii.  Your character (including name, personality, background, etc) must be
       your own creation. Impersonation is against the rules, as is character
       plagiarism.
 iv.   You cannot claim another user’s writing or creative content as your own
       work or incorporate their content into your work. Any material you post
       must be written by you, unless consent is granted from the creator and
       credit is provided to the creator.
 v.    It is against the rules to generate text from AI bots and claim it as
       your own work. This includes in threads, tasks and backstories and
       profiles. Remember that AI-generated text can be detected; you will be
       contacted if you do this. If you use AI text as a source for a task, make
       sure you change the words to your own and credit it accordingly.
 vi.   Codes which are created by other users cannot be utilised without
       permission and/or crediting to the creator. Do not claim their work as
       your own, even if you have edited the original code yourself.
 vii.  Unless you are the creator or have been granted permission by the
       Emperor, images and content hosted on World of the Grishaverse are not to
       be extracted and shared elsewhere for any purposes.
 viii. All other codes and content found on World of the Grishaverse belong to
       the creators of World of the Grishaverse unless they pertain directly to
       the canon of the Grishaverse novels/series. They are not to be copied or
       used.
 ix.   Any images, gifs and videos sourced directly from the Shadow & Bone TV
       show or official Grishaverse sources and posted onto the site in any
       location (such as profiles, threads, board posts, etc) must be logged
       through the Copyrighted Content Form. The form must be completed for
       every official image, gif or video posted onto the site.

4. Lawful Activity Any users who breach the following rules will be banned
immediately.
 i.   Encouragement of illegal activities in others is forbidden. World of the
      Grishaverse is not to be used as a platform for organising criminal
      activities.
 ii.  Predatory behaviour, such as sexual interactions/roleplay with underage
      users, is forbidden. This includes in private letters.
 iii. Links of pornographic, highly sensitive or distressing, or illegal
      material are not to be shared under any circumstances.
 iv.  Hate speech, terrorism and threats of violence/serious harm will not be
      tolerated under any circumstances.
 v.   If you suspect criminal activity and/or are concerned by someone’s
      behaviour in chat, around the site, or privately towards you in letters,
      please contact the Emperor and/or Grand Vizier. Do not try to handle it
      yourself.

5. Security & Privacy
 i.   Protect your privacy. Do not share information (such as your full name,
      address, phone number, etc) that could be used to identify and track you
      in the public chats or elsewhere on the site. If you wish to share
      information about yourself, do so via letters and only with people you
      trust.
 ii.  Letter correspondence is private. Do not share letters that have been sent
      to you or information that has been disclosed to you via letters unless
      you have the permission of the sender.
 iii. Do not share details of other, personal accounts (such as your Instagram
      or Snapchat) in the public locations on the site. If you wish to share
      these with someone, make sure you trust them and do so privately/via
      letter.
 iv.  Do not breach the personal privacy and security of users. Do not attempt
      to force, pressure or coerce them into revealing information about
      themselves to you. Doing so will result in a ban.
 v.   Do not share your password with anyone.
 vi.  Change your password and notify the Emperor and/or Grand Vizier
      immediately if you think your account has been hacked.

6. Advertising & External Sharing
 i.   Advertising or promoting sites outside of World of the Grishaverse on
      World of the Grishaverse is not permitted. You may discuss other sites,
      but not promote or advertise them.
 ii.  Encouraging users to join other sites which work to the same purpose (i.e.
      roleplaying, chat, creative writing, etc), especially in place of World of
      the Grishaverse, is considered advertising and is not permitted.
 iii. Advertising or promoting products or businesses outside of World of the
      Grishaverse who may profit from that promotion is not permitted.
 iv.  You can share your own work if you are proud of it (such as creative
      writing), but if you have a business or enterprise, please do not share
      them on the site for profit.
 v.   These rules apply to all locations where you could advertise on the site:
      via letter, threads, wall posts, in the chat, or elsewhere on the site.

7. Rights Reserved
 i.   World of the Grishaverse reserves the right to change the rules and
      guidelines of the site at any time without warning and with immediate
      effect.
 ii.  The creators of World of the Grishaverse are not responsible or liable for
      the content posted by users. It is the user’s responsibility if they
      upload prosecutable content.
 iii. World of the Grishaverse reserves the right to ban users who have broken
      the site rules any time without reason provided.
 iv.  If World of the Grishaverse has reason to suspect criminal activity or a
      serious breach in the site rules, World of the Grishaverse reserves the
      right to check your correspondence via letters.

Purpose
Our Purpose
World of the Grishaverse provides all Grishaverse fans with a place to meet and
get to know other like-minded individuals! Here, you can create a character of
your own and immerse yourself in the universe. Roleplay threads, an active chat,
features and games, and activities in fealties are just some of the vibrant
elements of WoGV, and we encourage you to take part in them yourself!

Credit
All characters, plots and locations from the Grishaverse novels are credited to
Leigh Bardugo and are not the property of World of the Grishaverse, which is a
fan-based, crowdsourced roleplaying website.

Official site codes were created by World of the Grishaverse and are the
property of World of the Grishaverse. The site itself was developed and coded by
Eye4web ApS(DK-35032177). Official images displayed on the site (such as items,
coins, and so on) were created by the Designers hired by World of the
Grishaverse and will be credited in their respective locations. Site canon
(creative worldbuilding unique to World of the Grishaverse) also belongs to
World of the Grishaverse.

The site's layout was coded by Kaishi Yul-Khaan. The codes currently used for
the rules and guidelines pages, IG information pages, notice board and home page
box were originally created for the site by owlexander#0786.

Acknowledgments
World of the Grishaverse would not have been made possible without the enormous

to fundraise enough money to launch World of the Grishaverse within only five

Zero Tolerance Policy
On World of the Grishaverse, we have a Zero Tolerance Policy for discrimination
of any kind. All races, gender identities and sexualities are welcome on WoGV,
and action will be taken if we do not feel that these are being respected. Under
no circumstances does WoGV condone colourism, racism, cultural erasure, sexism,
homophobia, transphobia, or any other discriminatory perspectives. All users are
welcome on our site and should be treated with equal respect at all times.
Registration Information
Character Names
The first, middle and last name that you are prompted to create will belong to a
fictional character of your creation, whose story you will develop during your
time on the site.

The name you select for your character cannot be changed except through in-game
purchases. For this reason, please select a character name that is original to
your character. It cannot belong to existing canon characters, real people,
characters from other fandoms/universes, etc. If your name is deemed to be
unrealistic, inappropriate or unoriginal, you will be contacted.

Further, some nations in the Grishaverse adhere to cultural naming practices.
Consider which nation your character hails from and whether they would observe
those practices. For example, a character from Shu Han would most frequently
take one of their parent's names, with the prefix Yul- if the character is a
boy, Kir- for a girl and Bal- if they are non-binary/prefer not to identify. For
example, a female Shu character might be called Altan Kir-Chimeg, with Chimeg
being her mother's name.

Along the same lines, characters from any of the nations – Ravka, Fjerda, Kerch,
Shu Han, the Wandering Isle, Novyi Zem and the Suli – would likely have names
that reflect their cultural backgrounds. Consider the fact that the Ravkan
language and its names are inspired by Russian, Fjerdan by
Norwegian/Scandinavian, Kerch by Dutch, Shu by Mongolian and Chinese, and so on.

Ages
A number of ages are available for you to select for your character. However,
bear in mind that your character will go through an education system upon
registration which will last for 6 years. You are welcome to create an older
character (e.g. 16), but be mindful that they will also subsequently finish
their secondary schooling at an older age (e.g. 22), unless you change their age
and rank through in-game purchases.

Fealty and Nationality
Your character's nationality and cultural background are entirely yours to
decide. Upon registration, they will swear fealty to one nation out of four;
however, their fealty is only their allegiance, and does not dictate their
culture or nationality.

Bulletins must be appropriate and follow the site rules to be posted. They will
be featured from most recent to last, and will be removed once their contents
