SHIP SECURITY ALERT SERVICES

The Ship Security Alert System (SSAS) is a maritime security system that allows
a ship to send an alert to designated authorities or organizations in case of an
emergency or security threat. The SSAS is a mandatory requirement for all ships
of 500 gross tonnage and above engaged in international voyages, as per the
International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations.
