SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY  

Babble & Bloom was created by Marie Albanese, a local speech language
pathologist based in New York City. Marie specializes in pediatric speech and
language therapy. She offers a wide range of services including speech and
language screenings, evaluations and individualized therapy.  She works with
children who present with expressive and receptive delays, articulation
deficits, auditory processing, social/pragmatic deficits and more!  Marie's
approach to speech therapy is dynamic, as she uses a child-led approach along
with evidence-based research strategies to meet her clients' needs. Marie is
taking new clients and wants to help your child's speech and language skills
bloom!

Marie Albanese

M.A., CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Marie Albanese is a New York State licensed and nationally certified
speech-language pathologist located in New York City. She holds her Certificate
of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association) and New York State TSSLD license (Teacher of Students with Speech
and Language Disabilities). She has diversified experiences working with

birth-30 years of age in schools, inpatient/outpatient hospitals, home care,
and private clinics. Her clinical experience has given her a valuable skill set
in working with late talkers, autism spectrum disorders, augmentative and
alternative communication (AAC), phonological disorders, and more! Marie's
therapy style focuses on meeting the child where they are at, building off their
strengths and interests, and most importantly helping their voices bloom!

Services


COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATIONS

Marie offers screening and evaluation services to assess speech and language
abilities. These screenings/evaluations help her determine the most effective
treatment plan. 


THERAPY SESSIONS

Marie offers therapy sessions throughout the week. She services clients both in
their home or through tele therapy. Each client receives individualized
treatment to meet their needs, along with family coaching/training.
