Lewis Engle started the company in 2001 to service the Sylacauga area. Today
Engle Services Heating & Air – Electrical – Plumbing covers Talledaga, South
Shelby, Tallapoosa, Saint Clair, and Chilton counties. Lewis prides himself on

I was very pleased with the kindness and hard work of Mike from Engle's in
dealing with a plumbing crisis.(Kitchen drain stopped up Thanksgiving week) On
two separate... evenings Mike returned to diagnose and repair just as he
promised. However, the fact that he had to return two afternoon/evenings were a
result of poor communication and care from Engle's. (IMHO) The initial
appointment was for 1-2pm on Monday, after rushing back from an early morning
trip to north Alabama to be home the Service Tech was a no show, after a call
back to the Engle's office I was rescheduled for Tuesday Afternoon. The 2 techs
arrived on time Tuesday but did not have proper equipment, I was informed that
they were not assigned my job but were in the area and wanted to try.(very kind)
Again, they told me the original service tech, Mike would be leaving from office
and should be at my home within 1-2 hours. This did not happen and 3-4 hours
later Mike did arrive but the call ran into my evening plans with family so we
cut the call short at 6:15pm so we could make a prior family commitment. After a
call to his office to explain my need to leave Mike told the office that he had
prior appointments the next day and could not get to me until later the next
day, it seems Engle's decided to leave it with Him and on Wednesday evening
(before Thanksgiving) at 6pm Mike returns to my home and finally by 8:30 the
clogged was cleared. I'm not sure what the normal protocol for services like
this should be but It seems that better care would have been to have shown up on
Monday as promised, and after that to assign a tech who can at least be here
earlier in the day. Finally, I did find the cost of services to be at a premium
and higher than expected, especially being treated like a last priority. But, I
am very grateful that the issue was finally resolved and as I write this
Thanksgiving Morning we can use our kitchen sink and dishwasher. Thanks Mike for

This company is amazing! The came put in the middle of the night to fix the
heat. Turned out it was a bad furnace. They got us temporary heat for the night
and installed a... brand new furnace the very next morning! Thank you soo
