How to install the parcel locker?

The parcel locker comes fully functional out-of-the-box, and only needs minimal
installation work. The parcel locker comes with an installation manual and all
necessary tools.

Once you’ve received the parcel locker you need to 

 1. Place the parcel locker in the desired location
 2. Make sure the parcel locker is level, using a spirit level or your phone’s
    level tool.
 3. Attach the parcel box on its base, fixing it with the accompanying four
    bolts.
 4. Start using Parcelsea.

Can I send packages with the smart mailbox?

Yes. You can set a unique PIN code to each locker, which enables you to safely
leave your parcels with the courier even when you’re away from home. Read more

Which courier companies can deliver to Parcelsea?

Parcelsea is an open solution and every courier (or even a neighbour) can leave
a package in the smart mailbox. The cells are alway open for use if they don’t
already have packages inside.

Is Parcelsea also suitable for people living outside of a city or town?

Yes. The only pre-condition for Parcelsea to make sense is being located in the
delivery area of various e-shops and couriers. Read the 10 reasons why you
should own a smart mailbox.

Where should the smart mailbox be installed?
We will place the parcel box in the location you want. If you have a locked
garden or a dog in the yard, the mailbox should be placed on the street. The
adjustable base of the ParcelSea box is built so that the location can also be
on a slope. If accessibility and safety are guaranteed, a smart mailbox can also
be placed in the yard.
What if something breaks down?
Every ParcelSea is covered under a 2-year warranty and in case of breakdowns,
ParcelSea’s customer support will arrange a solution directly.
What happens when the battery runs out?
The battery of the smart mailbox stays charged for one year. If you have a
monthly rental, we will replace the battery before it runs out. We also
guarantee the annual performance of the battery in case of purchase. From there,
the owner can either charge the battery himself or order maintenance (20 €),
during which we will replace the battery.
Are packages safe in the smart mailbox?

Yes. ParcelSea is made of steel and securely fastened to the ground using bolts.
The cells are protected from rain and humidity – read the conditions under which
we’ve tested ParcelSea. Only you have access to the packages with your unique
code after a cell is locked. The courier only has access to empty boxes. If the
smart mailbox already contains packages, it can only be accessed if the owner
has unlocked it.

What are the dimensions of a private parcelbox?
The total size of the smart mailbox is 800 mm x 600 mm x 850 mm and it consists
of three compartments (L, M, XS).
L: 472mm x 530mm x 526mm
M: 252mm x 367mm x 526mm
XS: 252mm x 120mm x 390mm
Mail can be inserted through an opening on the side and will fall into the XS
compartment.
