The reason why I chose this rail is the compact size, very minimal footprint, the hard anodizing coating is very high quality, matt finish and durable...nothing like those chinese shinny picatiny rails on Ebay that start peeling off after a couple of quick connect and disconnect of an accessory. The price is high, but if youspend a good amount of money in a firearm, do not save on the accessories, they are equally important...and if you appreciate quality engineered products, you will understand what I am trying to convey here with my review. Service from Xtremetactical was also top notch, it is always delivered with a bit of delay, but I do not mind waiting a few days. Ps: I added a few pictures here, I also made 1mm thick rectangular rubber gasgets to go between the rail and my stock, to avoid scratching it once you apply proper torque on it. The weight has been corrected and is a whopping 26.9 oz. a good scope for the money but the weight puts it nowhere near a Razor which is the primary comparable outside of price. So far I have used it from 30 to a 150 yards its extremely clear and easy to focus. The reticle is sharp and the mils easy to use. Locking zero is helpful. I cannot fault this scope for the price. It was delivered exactly when I was told it would be. Both sights have a "circle-dot" reticle - perfect for my shooting needs. The Holosun seems well made and robust. The quick detach mount is a welcome bonus. HOWEVER I haven't yet had a chance to shoot with it so can't say how easy it will be to sight in and actually use in comps. But so far I feel positive about the sight plus the buying experience from Extreme Tactical. The waiting times were a bit long, as for many other products imported from the USA, and therefore not dependent on Xtreme Tactical who always updated me on the status of the shipment (thank you George). The product has a high cost but adequate to the characteristics of the Nightforce brand, the price paid slightly lower than the Italian one. Nightforce, is always a point of reference in the panorama of high quality optics. Very satisfied, too bad that with Brexit things are getting very complicated for Europeans.
