Also it will probably come with a locked bootloader which will make it harder to root and customize the OS for pirating, not entirely impossible though but hackers will need to come up with a rooting solution like towelroot. If Quest gets popular enough (like a console), someday some genius may actually show interest on that and break it open for us. Untill then, well you gotta depend on stuffs on sale (and occasionally comes free for limited time). I'm planning to buy one if I can catch a sale (or with ref coupon if they allow). Already got a bunch of titles in Oculus store with corssbuy from the last flash sale, hoping to keep me busy with the Quest untill proper cracking solution is out. As for the forums, not really sure if the admins and most other users (remember most audience are non-VR) want any section for mobile stuffs. I m not sure that you need to root or unlock bootloader to install a cracked game or app on an android phone. Also, I guess with oculus, it is possible to buy the game, try it and if you didn't like, you can refund back your money. can't we use this method to get the game files using file manager and rebuild the apk file ? I hope someone will be able to get the quest games because they are really expensive compared to the game play length. Code: Select all | Line number On/Off | Expand/Contract 1. adb shell pm list packages will give you the package names. you should be able to do an adb backup and get the apk of titles. Not sure about the amount of lags for now (looking good to use based on the video), but this may get better in the future.
