Kids & Company is a leader in early childhood education, operating over 120
child care locations across North America. For more than 20 years, we’ve
provided nurturing and stimulating environments where children develop
independence, confidence, and a positive sense of self and the world around
them.

Our unique curriculum and student-led approach to discovery immerses children in
experiences that enhance language, literacy, a sense of music and rhythm,
movement, artistry and socialization. Through play, all areas of development are
fostered.

TRULY FLEXIBLE, HIGH-QUALITY CHILD CARE

Kids & Company was founded in 2002 when our co-founders, two working mothers,
could not find flexible child care options without a trade-off in quality. So
became their personal mission to meet and exceed the ever-evolving needs of
families.

Kids & Company prioritizes flexibility by offering care from one to five days a
week, extended hours, and no late fees. We also offer back-up care for families
that find themselves in need of emergency child care when a regular provider is
unavailable. We have Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, and School Age
programs for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years.

EMERGENT LEARNING

Kids & Company follows an emergent or cue-based approach to learning that allows
students to lead their own discoveries.  This philosophy encourages imagination
and curiosity, helps children feel individually supported, and makes learning
fun. 

Educators are trained to identify student interests and skills and build
appropriate invitations to learn about the world accordingly, through
experimentation, art, imaginary play, music, literature, movement and more.
Gently guiding with probing questions and encouraging the pursuit of ideas,
Educators cover age-appropriate concepts in ways that spark curiosity and
excitement in a child.

THE KIDCO KITCHEN

The Kidco Kitchen is Kids & Company’s exclusive in-house caterer. Founded on a
fresh from-scratch philosophy, the Kidco Kitchen provides our children with a
hot lunch and 3 snacks each day at the majority of our locations. Our ethnically
diverse menus feature meals like Butter Chicken and Veggie Pad Thai, encouraging
children to develop their pallet at a young age and become more adventurous
eaters. Ingredients are carefully planned and purchased locally, containing no
additives or preservatives.

STAY CONNECTED

We know that parents don’t want to miss anything when it comes to their child’s
day.  Password-protected web cameras are installed in each classroom at the
majority of our locations and provide a real-time video feed of your child’s
day. We also have a mobile app, Kindertales, where parents can view images and
access daily updates on activities your child is enjoying, what they have eaten
(and how much), nap times, diaper changes, and more!
