BonnieEdwards We loved it turned out nice for our 40th Doreen We delayed doing our kit as I was afraid my 3 year old grandson would pull his hand out too soon and we’ d have a mess. Well we finally took the plunge and it came out amazing. When I tell you I can see every line and pore on my hand against the smoothness of the boys, it’s no exaggeration. Few tips - when they say mix quickly they aren’t kidding! When they say don’t pour down sink it means scrape all residual goop before trying to clean your bowl!! In other words reading the directions all the way through before you start will save headaches later! And have fun. Lela Collver I liked how easy it was to do but it didn't get my ring set details but I was very happy how well it went. Do you sell the glass dome separately? Chase I would give it zero stars if I could. The “baby” kit was not at all child friendly. I followed the instructions, put my 10 month old’s foot in the designated mixture and she immediately sloshed it around everywhere. Somehow I was supposed to keep an infants foot in this thing for upwards of 3-9 minutes. She essentially kicked out the entirety of the mixture in the included bucket (which she’s also not supposed to have her foot touch the bottom so it’s not like I could use the bottom of the container as leverage to keep her foot from moving). THANK GOD I did it outside as it stained everything and went everywhere. My mother in laws patio stones are still stained and this was over two months ago. When I contacted customer service to ask how to clean it off they accused me of using the wrong mixture! I sent them a video showing the entire process and they admitted they were mistaken but said they had no advice or recommendations on how to clean up THEIR OWN product. DO NOT BUY!!! Photo is what the patio stones looked like after scrubbing for 30 minutes with dawn soap. Nick Sweet I am very pleased with the casting. It was very easy to follow the instructions strat to finish. The hardest part was deciding how the four of us were going to hold our hands. We a happy with how it turned out. The only downfall is the family bucket is bigger, but the lighted base with glass dome is to small. We all fit inside the bucket, but the glass dome won't fit over the mold. You would think that the base is as big as the bucket. All and all great product, just now have to figure out another way to display it. Everything customer service was top of the chain, the absolute best I have ever encountered, my package was delivered to my mailbox but because there are 10 boxes the key was put in another box. I contacted Ben and they promptly sent me another, My husband and I made the mold on our 24th wedding anniversary. Lauretta Middleton My husband got this for me for Valentine’s Day. We followed the directions to the letter. It did not go as planned (of course). We used cold water like it said. What we didn’t take into account was that it was FRIGID outside, so the water was colder than usual. So instead of 3-9 minutes for the mold to harden, we had our hands in this cold goop for 24 minutes trying not to move. It finally hardened and we poured in the stuff to make the model. We beat the sides to get out the air bubbles. When it was finished, we took it out and it was still covered in blemishes. I wanted to cry. I’d wanted this for awhile. My husband contacted the company and they immediately sent a replacement kit at no charge. Amazing customer service! We tried again and tweaked the process a bit and used a little warmer than cold tap water. It set perfectly. The hands came out with a few bubbles, but they came right off like it said. A little trying, but overall worth it. I highly recommend this company and product. Nicole This is what 75 years of marriage looks like! I gifted this to my grandparents for Christmas. They are 94 and 92 years old and graciously agreed to do this as a family keepsake. We LOVE the results! It made one of their sons cry upon seeing it. This is a fantastic product that yields beautiful results. We're so impressed with the details this mold captured! Grandma has very slender hands now and her skin is crepe- like. You can see all the delicate lines! Tips for great results: read instructions first and understand them fully, set up all you'll need and do a dry run, practice the hand hold, and when the hands come out of the mold use the included brush and wooden tool to smooth out any imperfections you see, like bubbles or webs, use good lighting in order to not miss anything. I have a Community mailbox and I believe the mail person may have put my box in the wrong mailbox, I emailed them and they made it right. Manett Hector Liked the product definitely needed two kits to make it right with a practice one but in all great result very happy w results Amanda I purchased the kit with the glass dome and lights, the casting the first time around did not turn out I sent customer service a email and they sent a new one. Second one turned out awesome however when we went to put it in the glass dome the casting didn’t fit in it and we could not hook up the lights. Emailed customer service two times the first time weeks ago they didn’t respond second time they did and told me that they could offer me 30% off a new casting kit keep in mind that as long as it ships in the US you can get 30% off so that was a slap in the face. So all and all the casting was amazing but I am really disappointed that it wouldn’t fit in the glass dome after I spent extra $ for it and now I have to go purchase one that will fit. The first time we did it there were way to many air bubbles and it looked awful. Thankfully, their customer service was super helpful and so kind. They sent us a molding and plaster package to redo it for FREE! The second time it came out perfect. Follow the instructions exactly and it will turn out. Use an electric mixer.
