About Me My Resume Projects Writing Budding Security Engineer and Women in STEM Advocate I am a budding Security Engineer with a strong background in Marketing and Communications. I'm enthusiastic about programming, design, and all things in between. My dream is to create products and ideas which bring people together. Keep reading to find out more about my skillset and how we can connect. What I Do Cyber Security As a budding Security Engineer, I have taken a keen interest in threat intelligence, digital forensics, biosecurity, and cyber security engagement. I have been able to develop these skills through my studies and cadetship. Programming Through my studies, I have been able to learn a range of programming languages including Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and Bootstrap. My most recent rotation had me coding in Beanshell. Collaborative Problem-Solving I thrive when working in a team and problem-solving is a pivotal skill in any workplace or team. By working on solutions collaboratively we can often achieve goals not only more efficiently but also to a higher standard that reflects multiple perspectives and skillsets. Advocacy As Founder and current President of the UC Supporting Women in STEM Society, Co-Lead for the Canberra Chapter of the AWSN, and ambassador for Asthma Australia I am incredibly passionate about advocacy for the causes I care about. Marketing I have led marketing teams across multiple organizations including Headspace Canberra, International Women’s Day Canberra, the University of Canberra STEM Ball, and Supporting Women in STEM Society. Public Speaking Apart from acting as a host at many University of Canberra and AWSN events, I have also been interviewed for Uncover Canberra and spoken as a panelist for Campus Consultancy and at Penten’s International Women’s Day event in 2021. What’s next for me? I am currently looking for opportunities that can challenge both my engineering and communication skills. I would love to get to know companies that share my passion for Women in STEM advocacy and actively support programs to increase female engagement in their industry.
