Online-Assessment PRIVACY STATEMENT The protection of your data is important to us. As a result, and to comply with all legal information obligations, we will inform you below how we, BearingPoint GmbH, process your data and what rights you have with regard to data processing. Our online assessment was developed by CYQUEST GmbH, Heußweg 25, 20255 Hamburg, Germany, and is operated by CYQUEST GmbH on our behalf. As a result, we will inform you here about which data we collect via CYQUEST and how we, or the CYQUEST GmbH, process this data. Of course, CYQUEST GmbH is expressly obligated to us and the data protection via an agreement on the processing of data. 1. SUBJECT OF DATA PROTECTION The subject of data protection is personal data. In accordance with Art. 4 GDPR this is all information relating to an identified or identifiable person. These include e.g. information such as names, postal addresses, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers, but also usage data such as your IP address or content data such as the answers you provide and the resulting test results. 2. SCOPE AND PURPOSES OF DATA COLLECTION, DATA STORAGE AND DATA USAGE In the following, we will inform you about the scope of the data collection and storage as well as their use and the purpose of the respective data collection in the context of the online assessment. (Hereinafter referred to as "data processing", used within the meaning of Article 4 (2) GDPR). 2.1 DATA PROCESSING IN THE CONTEXT OF THE COMPLETION OF THE ONLINE ASSESSMENT In principle, CYQUEST GmbH processes only pseudonymised applicant data and the respective IP address of the applicant for online temporary communication. 2.1.1 IP ADDRESSES Without Internet protocol addresses, in short "IP addresses", the Internet simply would not work. An IP address represents an address in computer networks so that web servers and / or individual end devices can be addressed and accessed. Without an IP address, the web server and the end device cannot communicate - and thus show no contents. The web server hosting the online assessment will be pinged with a data request - from you, because you, after all, want to use the online assessment. In order to provide you with the data, the web server needs to know your IP address. As a result, the web server must process your IP address at this moment of the data query. For this, the web server receives the information, which website or file is retrieved, which browser and which operating system was used. Normally, these data are stored long-term in the so-called web server log files. Usually. The CYQUEST GmbH stores the IP addresses of the applicants, except at the time of the necessary processing described here, no longer in the log files. Rather, for all accessing IPv4 addresses the last block is changed to "0" and for all accessing IPv6 addresses only the first two blocks are stored and the last six blocks are changed to "::". If you wonder why we explain this to you at all: The IP address is considered to be a personal date. And if the IP address qualifies as a personal date, then we must inform you that we process it briefly for the purpose of you being able to use the online assessment at all. 2.1.2 DATA PROCESSED AS PART OF THE ONLINE ASSESSMENT CYQUEST GmbH does not receive any personal data from us. We only transmit to CYQUEST GmbH * the external ID (pseudonymous identifier of the applicant, which does not allow the CYQUEST GmbH to draw conclusions about the person of the applicant). * the Group ID (key that associates the applicant or the external ID with the correct application group so that the candidate receives the tests relevant to his / her application group). It is only possible for the client, that is us, to de-pseudonymize the applicant's data. CYQUEST GmbH uses the aforementioned external ID to process all content data obtained via the assessment, such as: * Entries of applicants in the tests, * Test results, * Test and QuestionIDs (to see which tests have been completed) * Timestamps, (to be able to identify which tests have been completed at what time and / or in which timeframe). All of these content data are transmitted to us by CYQUEST GmbH exclusively under the external ID. 2.2 DATA PROCESSING IN THE CONTEXT OF THE SUPPORT In case of technical difficulties with the online assessment, we offer our applicants technical support. In case of any queries from us to CYQUEST GmbH, we only use the external ID. In individual cases, however, it may happen that you, as an applicant, are directly connected to CYQUEST GmbH by phone or e-mail in order to receive direct support services. In this case, CYQUEST GmbH receives the external ID and a telephone number or an e-mail address from us in order to be able to contact you directly. In this case, the personal data will naturally be linked to the content data in order to be able to identify how far the respective user has proceeded in the online assessment and how quickly remedial action can be taken. This temporary link by the support is not stored by the CYQUEST GmbH beyond the support case and otherwise not further processed. You agree to this form of processing as an applicant if you make use of direct support services in individual cases. 3. DURATION OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA Compliance with the principle of data minimization or data minimization is a matter of course. CYQUEST GmbH stores the pseudonymous data records as defined in Section 2.1.2. for one year to be able to access the data during the entire application process, including the possible probationary period. After the end of the year, the external ID will be deleted in the data record and replaced by an ID of CYQUEST GmbH. The data record is thus anonymised because it no longer contains a key with which the data could be made personally identifiable. CYQUEST GmbH processes these non-personal data for the purposes of science and for further validation of the tests. We process your data in accordance with the statutory provisions of employee data protection. 4. ASSIGNED DATA USE, TRANSFER OF DATA The principle of assigned data use is strictly observed. All of the aforementioned data will only be processed for the purposes stated in this privacy statement. At the time of completion of the online assessment, there are no legal or contractual reasons under which you would be obliged to participate in the online assessment and have your data processed accordingly. However, we have a legitimate interest in carrying out valid application processes. As a result and in accordance with Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG (new) we require the processing of this data in the context of the application process. If you do not submit the requested data via this online assessment, we will not be able to consider you in the further recruiting process. 5. INFORMATION, REVOCATION AND CANCELLATION RIGHTS Regardless of the foregoing, you may object to the use of your information at any time and revoke any consent to use your information at any time. Furthermore, you can at any time correct, block or delete the data collected and stored by us. We expressly point out that there may be legal obligations to retain data, in which case the data can only be blocked. If you direct your request for information, revocation and / or cancellation directly to CYQUEST GmbH, then CYQUEST is obliged to forward this request to BearingPoint GmbH and vice versa. In addition, you are entitled to data transferability under Art. 20 GDPR and the right to complain to a supervisory authority according to Art. 77 GDPR. If you revoke your consent to data processing or object to the use of the data, this does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing until the time of the revocation. To exercise the above rights, please contact contact@bearingpoint.com. or support@cyquest.net. HELP WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR MY SYSTEM? In order for your application process to run smoothly, we recommend using an IT system that is as up-to-date as possible. In addition to up-to-date hardware, this also includes: * Browser: current version of an established web browser (e.g. Edge, Firefox, Chrome) * Screen resolution: 1024 x 768 pixels or higher * JavaScript: enabled * Cookies: activated (only for temporary PHP session handling: no permanent cookies will be stored on your computer) * Internet connection: at least 2 Mbit/s downstream. Loading time may vary depending on your internet connection. Latest browser downloads: * Google Chrome * Mozilla Firefox WILL I BE AT A DISADVANTAGE IF MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS SLOW? No! Although those with a slower Internet connection may have to wait longer before the individual test modules are loaded, the test will not start - and the clock will not start ticking - until a given test has been fully loaded onto your system and you decide to start it. THE APPLICATION DOES NOT OPEN ON MY DEVICE. WHY IS THAT? Please compare the system requirements (see above) with your computer configuration. WHILE DOING THE ONLINE ASSESSMENT, MY COMPUTER CRASHED OR MY SYSTEM FROZE. WHAT CAN I DO? If your computer crashes during a task, such as the logic test, please contact us via the following e-mail address: Auswahltag@bearingpoint.com. We will then let you know how and when you can continue the test. If your computer crashed part-way through the online assessment, but not while you were actually working on a question, please reboot it and log on again using your access code. You can then resume the online assessment from the point where your system crashed, and at no disadvantage to yourself. THERE IS NO 'BACK' BUTTON AT VARIOUS POINTS WITHIN THE ONLINE ASSESSMENT. WHY IS THIS? This is deliberate! The individual tasks that comprise the online assessment can be done one time only. So if you have completed one of the tasks, you cannot return to it afterwards. IS IT ALLOWED TO USE A CALCULATOR? Yes, the use of a calculator is allowed. WHAT PART WILL THE RESULTS OF THE ONLINE ASSESSMENT PLAY IN MY APPLICATION AS A WHOLE? If you are invited to take part in the online assessment, then you have already made it past the first hurdle: your application papers made us keen to get to know you better. This assessment will involve testing you with regard to various performance and personality traits. The test results will then be incorporated into the shortlisting process, along with what we have learned from your application. Once you have completed all the tests, we will take a look at your results and then get in touch with you before long to discuss what happens next.
