Unfortunately the spare part was in a ship somewhere and by the time it arrived several weeks later, I was on friendly terms with the very helpful receptionist/ office manager who kept me informed of progress by phone and email. Once the work was completed, they did an MOT and made and fitted some new number plates. The very professional operation was fuss-free and as it turned out very reasonably priced.
