Do you know what is a limitless source of energy available anywhere on the
planet?

If your answer is solar or wind, then it’s not correct since both these energy
sources have their limitations. Sun does not always shine, and the wind does not
always blow, making both energy sources impractical, unreliable, and
unpredictable.

The answer to this question is beneath our feet…the Geothermal energy!

Geothermal is a reliable limitless source of clean energy. Geothermal energy
comes from deep inside the earth, the earth’s core…which is always burning. It
is hotter than the surface of the sun, all that is required is to drill deep
enough to liberate some of its heat.

But the problem is accessing that core by drilling deep enough!

Quaise Energy, a start-up spun out of the MIT in 2018 is planning to drill 20
kilometers or 12 miles deep to access geothermal energy any time anywhere.

To tap the infinite source of energy, Quaise Energy plans to use its new
drilling technology ‘millimeter-wave drilling systems’.  The firm will drill
with microwaves to go deeper than ever before. These contactless drills could
bore holes as deep as 12 miles where the rock reaches temperatures up to 400
degrees Celsius (752 Fahrenheit).

It could revolutionize how we produce renewable energy!

Quaise Energy has already raised $63 million to make ubiquitous access to
geothermal a viable option.
