You only need 3 ingredients for this crockpot Italian chicken with Italian
dressing and Parmesan cheese. Nothing could be easier than this for a weekday

INGREDIENTS

 * 1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian dressing (such as Olive Garden℠ Signature Italian
   Dressing)

 * 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

 * 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts


DIRECTIONS

    

 1. Stir Italian dressing and Parmesan cheese together in a bowl.
    
    

 2. Place chicken in a slow cooker, and pour dressing mixture over chicken.
    Cover and cook on Low until chicken is tender, no longer pink in the center,
    and the juices run clear, about 8 hours.

If you’re looking for easy, delicious meals, save this one! The prep could not
be any quicker or easier, and the flavor is lovely. I served it with rice and
asparagus, but it would be tasty over some angel hair or linguini pasta as well.

If there were a zero rating I would have picked it. This recipe looks good and
smells good while cooking but tastes awful because it was much too salty. I have
never used a recipe that was so salty as to ruin the flavor. I used six pieces
of white meat chicken with a half bottle of Olive Garden dressing which turned
out to be a waste of money because of the over-saltiness, and even that amount
was too much. It was a geat disappointment and I won't be making this dish
again.

This is probably the simplest and most complimented entree I've ever cooked. The
only adjustment I made was, based on some comments regarding saltiness, I
reduced the salad dressing to 1/2 bottle and didn't add any salt to the chicken
although I did preseason with pepper. I also reduced the cooking time to about 4
hours on low.

I thought the recipe was ok. I think I cooked the chicken breast a little too
long and the sauce was watery. If I make it again next time, I probably have the
crockpot on for 6 hours instead of 8.

I love the ease of the recipe and the limited number of ingredients, but both my
teenage son and I found it to be much too salty for our liking. I used the Olive
Garden Italian salad dressing and prepared the recipe as written. We decided not
to make this again due to the saltiness and the interesting flavor from the
salad dressing (can't describe it). Maybe a different dressing would be better?
