The prep could not be any quicker or easier, and the flavor is lovely. I served it with rice and asparagus, but it would be tasty over some angel hair or linguini pasta as well. This recipe looks good and smells good while cooking but tastes awful because it was much too salty. I have never used a recipe that was so salty as to ruin the flavor. I used six pieces of white meat chicken with a half bottle of Olive Garden dressing which turned out to be a waste of money because of the over-saltiness, and even that amount was too much. The only adjustment I made was, based on some comments regarding saltiness, I reduced the salad dressing to 1/2 bottle and didn't add any salt to the chicken although I did preseason with pepper. I used the Olive Garden Italian salad dressing and prepared the recipe as written. We decided not to make this again due to the saltiness and the interesting flavor from the salad dressing (can't describe it). Maybe a different dressing would be better?
