EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A review of the top-selling drugs of the first quarter of 2023 demonstrate the
declining turnover from products to treat or prevent COVID-19, as well as a
precipitative drop by Humira. Merck & Co’s PD-1 inhibitor Keytruda grew
strongly, and Novo Nordisk’s injectable diabetes drug Ozempic burst into the top
10 ranks.

20 best-selling drugs in 2022. However, strong growth was also seen for drugs
across categories from immunology and cancer to HIV and cardiometabolic.
J&J HEDGES ON 2025 PHARMA REVENUE OUTLOOK
The company admitted it may not meet a goal set in 2021 to reach a $60bn
pharmaceutical revenue target in 2025.
