WELCOME TO ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PRACTITIONERS – KENYA (ACDP-K)

The Association of Community Development Practitioners – Kenya (ACDP-K) is a
registered national network for professional community development practitioners
in Kenya.It was registered under the Societies Act on 1st August 2017 and seeks
to bring together community development practitioners so as to network and share
experiences as well as professionalise the practice of community development in
Kenya.

ACDP-K will attain these ends through networking with national and international
duty bearers and stakeholders as well as holding regular national and
international forums for membership engagement, benchmarking and capacity
building. ACDP-K subscribes to best practices in community development and
supports observance of international standards in community development work and
practice.

Membership is open to community development practitioners with graduate training
in community development or related discipline. By joining ACDP-K you become a
part of this dynamic national network that will go a long way in safeguarding
the interests of community development practitioners and those of the
communities which we work with.

The mission of ACDP-K as a national network of professional community

with through promotion of the discipline and sound practice of community
development.
