"On our recent trip to Italy, we had the most amazing couple days in Vernazza.
This restaurant was the highlight of our meal experience the whole time we were
there. The mussels are superb and I had the best cioppino I have ever had. The
staff are a lot of fun and excellent at their jobs. Love this place and hope to
return soon!"

"Located in the piazza of Vernazza town near the Port, this lovely restaurant
offers a great spot for watching life go by and is fantastic for dinner during
the golden hour.
The food is authentic of the region and offers fresh seafood depending on the
catch of the day. We ordered the pan braised mussles, fresh and lovely with a
glass of wine. Followed by the fish in .... sauce a house specialty and fish
bake Ligurian style. Both were delicious and Greta representations of the fare
of Liguria. We finished with a classic Tiramisu which didn't disappoint.
Fantastic setting, friendly service and delicious food make this a great place
for a meal!"

"The restaurant is set in the main square, overlooking the beach and small port,
so the location is awesome. However what is really exceptional about this
restaurant is the food: an interesting menu, and exceptionally fresh fish cooked
with real art and passion (we had the best octopus I have ever tasted so far). I
wish there were more restaurants like this in the Riviera. We will come back for
sure."

"We were staying in Vernazza this October (not so crowded with tourists due to
Covid so we didn't really need to book in advance). Right in the piazza seaside,
beautiful. Very charming people and a nice comfortable inviting atmosphere. We
had Ravioli di Pesce Con Vongole and Pesce Al Linguria. Fantastic! The house
wine was very nice as well. Our compliments to the chef and the staff."

The Gambero Rosso Restaurant is the perfect place to savor the typical cuisine
of Ligurian tradition,
taste the wines of the area and beyond, thanks to the wide selection on the
menu,
while sitting in the charming square of Vernazza overlooking the harbor.
It is a lovely and characteristic spot located in an historic building,
which still retains all its originality inside.
