ABOUT THIS COURSE

Add some pep to your summer with this entry to cheerleading, team dance and
baton twirling! This noncompetitive, beginner-level program teaches the basics:
body movement, hand and arm positions, posture, balance, and coordination. If
your child has expressed an interest in cheerleading, team dance, or baton
twirling; you’re looking for a stepping stone to competitive cheer; or you are
prepping for football season, we have you covered! Batons will be provided for
use during camp. Custom-fitted batons to keep may be purchased from the
instructor. Please wear comfortable athletic wear and closed-toe sneakers; no
jewelry other than stud earrings (no rings, necklaces, or bracelets as these
will impede movement); and pull hair back from the face in a bun or ponytail.
Bring a water bottle and a snack each day. We will take a midpoint break outside
if weather permits, so please wear sunscreen!
