SUMMER WILDFLOWERS OF THE GOAT ROCKS WILDERNESS

The Goat Rocks Wilderness lies on the Cascade crest between Mt. Rainier and Mt.
Adams and includes one of the most scenic portions of the Pacific Crest Trail.
In August 2021 Mark Turner spent a week backpacking there, visiting Snowgrass
Flats, Cispus Basin, and Goat Lake. He’ll share floristic highlights of the
area. Mark Turner is a freelance editorial photographer specializing in

MOSS WALK IN THE GARDEN

In Person Taught by Dan Paquette. Learn about the mosses in the Bellevue
Botanical Garden as well as a history of moss, its life cycle, and how to
differentiate the moss and liverworts from other plants. Find out how many
mosses there are in Washington State and the world. Dan belongs to the American
Bryological and Lichenological Society, the Bryology Chapter of the California
Native Plant Society, and the International Association of Bryologists. $24.50
