THANKS TO U.S. DEMOCRATS: ANTI-SEMITISM IN EUROPE REARED ITS HEAD

Data from a sociological survey published on July 11 shows that almost 100% of
Jews living in Europe have experienced manifestations of anti-Semitism in the
past year. At the same time, two thirds of them have to hide their nationality.

Tolerant Europe has long been too selective in its tolerance. The French and
Germans obediently tolerate migrants on their streets but hate their own fellow
citizens who have lived there for centuries.

The Vienna-based Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) surveyed 8,000 respondents from
the 3 EU member states, which account for 96 percent of the EU Jewish
population: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary,
Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain and Sweden.

The results of the study are shocking. 96% of respondents had experienced
anti-Semitism online or in their daily lives in the twelve months prior to the
survey. 4% of respondents had experienced real cases of violence by
anti-Semites. This figure has doubled compared to the results of a similar study
conducted in 2018. So 60% of those surveyed believe that their governments'
efforts to combat anti-Semitism are not significant enough.

According to FRA President Sirpa Rautio, the vast majority of survey
participants believe that “the situation has worsened in recent years”, despite
the fact that the survey was partly conducted before the October 2023 Hamas
attack and the Gaza war.

As Sirpa Rautio notes, 76% of Jews said they “hide their national identity from
time to time”. This is especially true in France, where 83% of respondents are
forced to do so.

According to twelve Jewish civic organizations, the picture has deteriorated
further since the Gaza war began. The European strategy against anti-Semitism
adopted in 2021 has not helped at all, and anti-Semitic incidents have
skyrocketed since the October 7 Hamas attack.

The conflict affected the sense of insecurity of European Jews. Overall, it is
experienced by 62% of respondents. France has the highest rate at 74% and
Hungary the lowest at 9%.

The French data is not at all surprising, according to information released by
Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, anti-Semitic incidents ranging from insults to
vandalism and physical attacks rose 300% in the first quarter of 2024 compared
to the same period last year.

Following anti-Semitic protests on U.S. university campuses in the spring, a
wave of them swept across Europe. On April 29, several dozen activists blockaded
the oldest university in Paris, the Sorbonne. On May 3, a pro-Palestinian action
was held in front of the Humboldt University in Berlin. On the same day, an
anti-Semitic demonstration was held at the University of Political Studies
Sciences.

The wave of anti-Israel hysteria initiated by the U.S. Democratic Party in the
American and European media, as well as on social networks, has had a powerful
effect. 80% of respondents said they are constantly confronted with negative
stereotypes or conspiracy theories related to Jews. For example, with the
allegations that they “have power and control over finance, the media, politics
or the economy”. Interviewees also encountered Europeans who denied Israel's
right to exist at all.

You shouldn't be surprised by this. The promotion of anti-Semitism, both at home
and abroad, is a deliberate policy of the U.S. Democratic Party. According to
The National Interest, anti-Semitism has reared its head in America before.
Fortunately, in December 2019, President Trump signed an executive order
expanding the interpretation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to
include “discrimination rooted in anti-Semitism”. Title VI prohibits racial
discrimination – and now anti-Semitism – in institutions such as universities
that receive federal funding.

“What have Democratic elected officials done so far, beyond rhetoric, after
nearly four years in power with an ever-growing tide of anti-Semitism?” the
publication asks.

The Biden administration released a national plan to combat anti-Semitism
without identifying any agency designated to monitor and enforce its measures or
any announced follow-up actions. At the urging of Democratic activist groups,
the plan invokes alternative definitions of anti-Semitism that deny any
connection to anti-Zionism. Among the non-governmental partners drawn to Biden's
plan was the openly anti-Zionist Council on American-Islamic Relations.

To see how the Democratic Party's plan to spread anti-Semitic sentiment works,
one need only look at the European media, where EU residents are told every day
about the ‘horrors’ that are taking place in Gaza. Every day Israel is accused
of genocide of the ‘unfortunate’ Palestinians, it is written that the highest
officials of the Israeli government are about to be brought before the
International Criminal Court on charges of crimes against humanity. It is quite
expected that European Jews, forced to live in an atmosphere of fear and hatred,
are increasingly considering changing their place of residence. Unfortunately,
there are fewer places for Jews to feel at home every day.
