NOTICE FOR CUSTOMERS FLYING 23RD DECEMBER AND BEYOND.

To all customers currently possessing PCR test kits and flying on 23rd and 24th
December 2020: We urge and advise you to continuously track your package if you
are using the Royal Mail tracking sticker included in your test kit to confirm
that it has arrived at the lab prior to the 23rd of December. We advise you to
use a courier service to send your kit back to the lab if you want the assurance
that it arrives on time to ensure you have your Fit to Fly certificate prior to
your flight. As our service currently relies on Royal Mail, we will NOT be
processing samples after the 23rd December 2020. Royal Mail will not be
delivering kits after the 24th December 2020 and we will be discontinuing use of
this service for our Fit to Fly service after this date. We advise that if you
still have kits and intend to use them for a flight after this date that we are
recalling these kits and you should return them unopened to our Harley Street
clinic for a full refund.

To avoid mail delays during the holiday period, make sure to order the tests you
need far enough in advance so as to avoid the possible delays as outlined below.
The information pertains to any order delivered with Royal Mail, as well as PCR
samples being sent back to the lab using Royal Mail return labels.

 

Mail affected period: 20 December 2021 to 4 January 2022

Clinic closing: The clinic at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel will be closed
on 24 to 26 December 2021.

Click & Collect: Both the clinic and the St Martin's Lane Click & Collect
locations will be closed on 24 to 26 December 2021.

DISPATCH CUT OFF TIMES AND OTHER AFFECTED SERVICES, BY DAY:


MONDAY 20 DECEMBER 2021 + TUESDAY 21 DECEMBER 2021

Normal service; however, orders placed on these days and/or PCR tests being
posted to the lab risk not being delivered until after Christmas - 28 December
at the earliest.

Advice to customers: don't delay your purchase any longer than Monday to avoid
possible delays.

 


WEDNESDAY 22 DECEMBER 2021

Last official day for Royal Mail service for orders (placed before 5pm) to be
posted or for tests sent to labs for delivery before Christmas (to be dropped
off in Priority Boxes prior to 12:30).

Please note, everything posted on this day may be delayed for delivery up until
29 December 2021.

ADVICE TO CUSTOMERS:

For PCR tests being sent back to the lab: Drop off samples in Royal Mail
Priority Boxes as early as you can on this day and before 12:30PM.

For customers placing orders: Any order placed before 5PM today will get
dispatched, but we cannot guarantee delivery the following day if you choose
Royal Mail for delivery. We advise choosing DPD for the delivery method if you
want guaranteed delivery.

 


THURSDAY 23 DECEMBER 2021

Orders placed on this day or PCR tests posted to lab on this day would not be
delivered until 29th or 30th December. Orders placed for next day delivery with
DPD may not be delivered till 29th or 30th December.

ADVICE TO CUSTOMERS:

For PCR tests being sent back to the lab: Sample will not be delivered to the
lab until the 29 or 30 December. Customers are advised to wait till after the
bank holiday to drop off their samples in the Priority Boxes, or to arrange a
private courier to deliver their samples to the lab. Today is the last day to be
able to drop off samples at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel clinic as well
(drop offs accepted until 4:30PM).

For customers placing orders: Orders placed on this day will not be delivered to
customers until 29 or 30 December due to no service from Royal Mail.

 


FRIDAY 24 DECEMBER 2021 UNTIL WEDNESDAY 29 DECEMBER 2021

Orders placed on this day or PCR samples posted to the lab during this period
will not be collected by Royal Mail until 29 December, processed on 30 December,
and could be delivered on 31 December, but are also likely to be delivered on 4
January 2022.

ADVICE TO CUSTOMERS:

For PCR tests being sent back to the lab: Samples dropped off in Priority boxes
during this period will likely not be processed by Royal Mail until 29 December.
They could be delivered to the lab on 30 December or 31 December, but could be
further delayed till 4 January, by which point the sample could be spoiled.
Customers are advised not to take their sample during this period and to wait
after the bank holiday/no service period to drop off their samples.
Alternatively, customers can choose to drop off samples at the London Heathrow
Marriott Hotel clinic from 27 December 2021 (clinic closed 24 to 26).

For customers placing orders: Orders placed during this period will not be
picked up or processed by Royal Mail until 29 December. They could be delivered
to customers on 30 December or 31 December, but are also likely to be delayed
till 4 January 2022.

 


THURSDAY 30 DECEMBER 2021

Orders being placed or PCR tests posted to the lab on this day will not be
delivered before 4 January 2022.

ADVICE TO CUSTOMERS:

For PCR tests being sent back to the lab: Samples dropped off in Priority boxes
during this period will not be delivered by Royal Mail until 4 January 2022.
Customers are advised not to take their sample during this period and to wait
till on or after 3 January to take and drop off their samples.

For customers placing orders: Orders being placed today will not be delivered
until 4 January at the earliest.

 


FRIDAY 31 DECEMBER 2021 UNTIL TUESDAY 4 JANUARY 2022

Orders being placed or PCR tests posted to the lab on these days will not be
dispatched until 4 January and will be delivered on 5 January at the earliest.

ADVICE TO CUSTOMERS:

For PCR tests being sent back to the lab: Samples dropped off during this period
will not be processed by Royal Mail until 4 January 2022 and may not be
delivered to the lab till 5 January at the earliest. Customers are advised to
either arrange a private courier to the lab or to collect their sample on 4
January or afterwards.

For customers placing orders: Any orders placed during this period will not be
dispatched until 4 January 2022 and will not be delivered before 5 January 2022.

 


WEDNESDAY 5 JANUARY 2022 ONWARDS

Normal service resumes.
