<hr> <p lang="EN-US" paraeid="{aeb7ae2a-a197-40b8-9f75-8afc0b35288f}{58}" paraid="555966946" xml:lang="EN-US">Brazil’s The Coffee has announced upcoming debuts in Puerto Rico, Armenia, Malaysia, Australia and Canada as it
continues its international expansion drive. <br> </p>
<p lang="EN-US" paraeid="{b1465c2d-fb59-4757-9bb2-e58e94ca21e7}{218}" paraid="786829996" xml:lang="EN-US">The Curitiba-based coffee chain told World Coffee Portal that it will open in the Puerto Rican capital San Juan in September
2024 before expanding to Armenia and Malaysia the following month with sites in Yerevan and Kuala Lumpur respectively. </p>
<p lang="EN-US" paraeid="{9e05a6f3-03fc-47ef-8b86-0377a4d43356}{83}" paraid="696714587" xml:lang="EN-US"><br> The Coffee also plans to debut in Sydney and Toronto before the end of 2024 – which if achieved will mark the
brand’s first stores in Oceania and North America. </p>
<p lang="EN-US" paraeid="{21ebfef0-3699-4b53-949c-43116f9fafb1}{137}" paraid="1693711753" xml:lang="EN-US"><br> Founded in 2018, The Coffee has accelerated international outlet growth over the last 12 months, debuting in
<a href="https://www.worldcoffeeportal.com/Latest/News/2023/November/Brazil-s-The-Coffee-enters-Chile-with-Santiago-out" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Chile</a>, Mexico,
<a href="https://www.worldcoffeeportal.com/Latest/News/2024/April/Brazil-s-The-Coffee-makes-Asia-debut-with-Thailand" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">Thailand</a>,
<a href="https://www.worldcoffeeportal.com/Latest/News/2024/July/Brazil-s-The-Coffee-enters-the-Middle-East-with-fi" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">the UAE</a> and Austria. The small-format coffee chain currently has
a presence across 10 markets across Latin America, Europe, East Asia and the Middle East. </p>

<p lang="EN-US" paraeid="{3ed9e01d-bb80-4b1a-9153-d107e9af5270}{134}" paraid="481363742" xml:lang="EN-US"><br> Backed by São Paulo-based venture capital firms CapSur and Monashees, The Coffee has
<a href="https://www.worldcoffeeportal.com/Latest/News/2023/October/Brazil-s-The-Coffee-raises-$10m-to-accelerate-inte" rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">raised $17.5m</a> over the last two years to fund its
international expansion. The Curitiba-based coffee chain plans to open over 1,000 stores outside Brazil by 2028. </p>

The Curitiba-based coffee chain told World Coffee Portal that it will open in the Puerto Rican capital San Juan in September 2024 before expanding to Armenia and Malaysia the following month with sites in Yerevan and Kuala Lumpur respectively. The Coffee also plans to debut in Sydney and Toronto before the end of 2024 – which if achieved will mark the brand’s first stores in Oceania and North America. Founded in 2018, The Coffee has accelerated international outlet growth over the last 12 months, debuting in Chile, Mexico, Thailand, the UAE and Austria. The small-format coffee chain currently has a presence across 10 markets across Latin America, Europe, East Asia and the Middle East. El Salvador, Guatemala and Italy are also listed as longer-term market entries on The Coffee’s website. Backed by São Paulo-based venture capital firms CapSur and Monashees, The Coffee has raised $17.5m over the last two years to fund its international expansion. The Curitiba-based coffee chain plans to open over 1,000 stores outside Brazil by 2028.
