A Little Bit About Campbell River Christian School...

Campbell River Christian School is an Independent School located on beautiful
Vancouver Island in the community of Campbell River. We are a member of ACSI -
Association of Christian Schools International. The school offers instruction
from K to 12 with Biblical integration in all subject areas and in all
procedures. We serve students from many different churches in Campbell River and
the surrounding areas. 

We offer a full range of high-quality education and extracurricular
experiences.

MARCH 2024

"THE NEXT DAY HE [JOHN] SAW JESUS COMING TOWARD HIM, AND SAID, 'BEHOLD, THE LAMB
OF GOD, WHO TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD!'” ~ JOHN 1:29

 

This March brings us an early Easter this year! In the craziness of the world
around us, I am reminded of Ecclesiastes 1:9 in the Bible  — “What has been will
be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the
sun.” Nothing surprises our God. He knows us and He knows our fallen state of
sin and our penchant to keep making choices that separate us from Him. Being a
just God, He knows that sin has to be dealt with — that’s where the miracle of
Easter comes in. While things may repeat in life, God sent His only begotten
Son, Jesus, to die ONE time to pay the price for our sins! His agonizing death
on a cross didn’t end there; three days later, He conquered death by rising to
life once more. People used to sacrifice perfect lambs as a way to pay the
penalty of our sin. On that cross, Jesus took away the sin of the world. He was
truly the perfect lamb that was sacrificed to take away our sin. By accepting
Jesus’s sacrificial gift to us, we no longer have to be caught in the repeating
loop of sin and guilt; we can rejoice that the tomb in which He was buried could
not contain Him! God offers all of us this gift of His Son’s sacrifice! I
encourage you to receive Him into your heart and be washed clean of sin!
