The club was started mainly to promote the sport and the lifestyle of swimming. The SSS ethos has been and always will be "to train each and every child to the best of their ability". We pride ourselves in creating an environment that is safe, family orientated, fun and professional. These are our objectives: To promote the sport of swimming. To develop and encourage a swimmer's potential ability and to recognise their achievements. To provide swimmers with a healthy and fun filled competitive environment. HEALTHY. FUN FILLED. DOWNLOAD NEWSLETTER SWIMMING SEASON The season runs from 1 May to 30 April the following year and includes: * 4 month winter season (1 May - 31 August) * 8 month summer season (1 September - 30 April) * There is a short break between seasons from mid-April to the beginning of May (coach to advise) * Some younger swimmers choose only to swim in summer.
