Have put the unit in a built in wardrobe that suffers with damp. Checked it
after one week, not much in the way of colour change. Then after the second
week I could see a green tinge. I could maybe have left it for a third week,
as I got the impression it would get greener still given time, but have
chosen to plug it in to dry out. Will give it approx 20hrs, which seems about
right after reading the other reviews before putting it back in the wardrobe.
Whether it will reduce or prevent the damp problem entirely will take many
months to know, but for now I can confirm it collects moisture and will
probably need a ‘charge’ every 2-3 weeks, although I think this will
obviously vary depending on the moisture level of where it’s being used. So
far so good. Happy to recommend based on early assessment.
