Issues impacting employers of all industries and sizes continue to
gain attention each year, ranging from minimum wage increases to ballooning
health care costs. We need your help to make the business community an effective
voice at the State Capitol. The demand for employer’s involvement is needed now
more than ever.
Employers in Action, a coalition led by The State Chamber, will provide you the
opportunity to interact with elected officials and keep you up to date on the
latest issues impacting your bottom line in the areas of human resources and
labor law issues. As a member of the coalition, we need your
expertise and real-world experience to ensure policies introduced at the State
Capitol help instead of harm your business.
The coalition is non-partisan.

This fall, we will host a series of luncheons that provide you the perfect
opportunity to network with other employers in your area, learn about the issues

Save the date for EIA Day at the Capitol where you will get a first-hand look at
what is happening in our state’s legislature. Breakfast will be provided as you
hear from legislative leaders and experts on the issues that affect your bottom
line. While you are at the State Capitol, we want to make sure you meet your
local elected officials and hear directly from them about the legislative
process.
