Helping people discover God in their life


Inspired by the message of Opus Dei that everything in life can be a path to
find God, Lismullin Institute aims to do this by organising activities which
help each person discover the Christian meaning of their work and their daily
life.


Over the past 50 years, we’ve helped people of all walks of life to reflect on a

IN LINE WITH RECENT GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES THE FOLLOWING COVID SAFETY MEASURES
WILL APPLY IN LISMULLIN.

You should not attend the activity if you or anyone in your household is sick or
you have been in contact with someone who is suffering from Covid 19.

 * - You should either be fully vaccinated or have had Covid 19 in the past 6
   months or have a negative test within 24 hours before attending the activity.
   ‍
   - If you have not been vaccinated or had Covid 19 in the previous 6 months
   you should wear a mask when mixing with others ie when outside your own room.
   ‍
   - Adequate ventilation is an important component of risk mitigation.  Please
   cooperate by ventilating your own room and facilitating the ventilation of
   public areas after use (eg the sitting room, oratory, dining room etc). The
   staff will check the air quality in public areas regularly and will inform
   you if more ventilation is required.

The group dynamic worked really well, as did the time given to break out
discussion and plenary sessions. The mix of professions and types of experience
in managing people led to a much more frank, diverse and fruitful discussion on
the issue then if we had all been from the same company. The facilitator’s
ability to bring his own wealth of experience to the debate, while at the same
time not ‘lecturing’ the group on what is right and wrong in any given
situation, was refreshing and allowed the participants to look to their own
experience and come up with possible solutions going forward. Getting the case
studies prior to the seminar is a really good idea.
