ACQUIRES POTTLE’S TRANSPORTATION October 12, 2022 (Winnipeg, MB) Bison Transport (“Bison”) is pleased to announce that, effective October 31, 2022, Bison will acquire, through an affiliate, 100 per cent of the issued and outstanding shares of Pottle’s Transportation (“Pottle’s”). Headquartered in Hermon, Maine, Pottle’s is a truckload carrier based in the Northeastern US with 200+ tractors and 750+ trailers and a logistics offering. Pottle’s is a 2nd generation business, founded over 60 years ago by Cliff Pottle and then owned by his son, Barry Pottle, until it was acquired by Bison. Pottle’s success has been driven by a long tenured and reputable customer base, low driver turnover, a focus on safety, a quality fleet and a strong company culture. These factors are similar to those that have allowed Bison to be successful, leading us to see a strong strategic fit between our companies.
