What is HAMMER?
A transient analysis and water hammer software, HAMMER is the most
cost-effective way to control transients. Used successfully on high-profile
projects around the world, HAMMER can identify critical points in the system
that need protection and facilitate sound system design.
What is the price of OpenFlows HAMMER?
The price of OpenFlows HAMMER varies per region. While there are various types
of licensing available, a common choice is the 12-month practitioner license
offered through Bentley’s eStore. When you purchase through the eStore, you get
a Virtuoso Subscription. This means you get the software and “Keys” (tokens) to
redeem for customizable training, mentoring, and consulting services.
Does HAMMER require the use of OpenFlows WaterCAD or OpenFlows WaterGEMS?
No. You do not need other programs to use HAMMER. HAMMER can directly read
WaterCAD or WaterGEMS files, and you can import EPANET files.
What is the difference between HAMMER and WaterGEMS?
HAMMER is a transient solution. WaterGEMS is a steady state solution. Even when
running extended period simulation, WaterGEMS uses a series of steady state
calculations.
Can HAMMER work with gravity flow systems or fluids other than water?
