HOW IT ALL BEGAN…

We oftentimes get the question… who thought of this? Well, it happened by
accident.

OUR STORY

During the covid shutdown Angie, the founder of SDD turned to art to cope with
the stress of the situation. She gave her family a drawing prompt one morning
and that night they gathered to share their work. They posted this on social
media and continued drawing prompts daily. Their following grew rapidly and the
rest is history. Thousands of people around the world tap into their creativity
every day using a simple daily drawing prompt, and share their work with a
community of like-minded individuals.

OUR DRAWING PROMPTS

Our drawing prompts range in subject from abstract concepts such as
‘perspective’ to specific descriptions such as ‘skunk on a stump’.

They are Rated G, Diverse, Clever, Sometimes Surprising, Always Loads of Fun.

IS A SKETCHPAD REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMMUNITY?

Nope! The sketchpad is totally optional. We offer it to people that are looking
for a bit of extra motivation, a way to stay organized or just want more
structure to their practice.

You can join our Mighty Network without purchasing a sketchpad, and also, you
can purchase a sketchpad without participating in our Mighty Network!

WHAT IS THE RENEWAL CYCLE FOR THE SKETCHPAD?

When you subscribe, you’ll be charged and sent your first sketchpad right away.
Each subsequent month will renew on the 15th. It gives us plenty of time to get
it to you before the month starts. 

The cutoff date for each sketchpad cycle is the last day of the month, on the
month prior to the sketchpad month. If you sign up between the 1-14th, your
renewal will not take place until the following month on the 15th. 

WHERE DO I FIND THE DAILY DRAWING PROMPTS?

We publish the current month of prompts for free, available to anyone on our
website at www.simpledailydrawing.com/drawing-prompts.

If you want to participate with the community of people drawing the prompts,
join our Mighty Network, where the current month and past months prompts can be
found in relevant feeds.

HOW DOES 'DAILY DRAWING' WORK?

 1. Each month we’ll publish a new list of drawing prompts – a new one for each
    day – in our Mighty Network. The prompt may take the form of a word, phrase,
    image, theme, or scenario, and it is intended to inspire the creation of a
    drawing.
 2. Members are encouraged to create a drawing based on the prompt and share it
    with the community in the drawing prompt feed.
