Filter movements by magnitude and type (e.g. bending, acceleration, heave, etc). Areas from the size of a house to nationwide, 2015 to present day as standard. ASSESS MONITOR Receive updated movement data over your area of interest at a frequency that suits you, ranging from weekly to annually. View on our web-based portal, receive updated files for your GIS viewer, or use our API. MONITOR ALERT Protect people and your assets. Receive an email or text message if excessive movement is detected. Set your own thresholds or let us help you determine them. ALERT OUR CUSTOMERS The Coal Authority along with the Welsh Government have utilised SatSense's services as part of the Coal Tips Monitoring Pilot to use InSAR data to track changes in the environment in and around a number of disused coal tips. ESA (the European Space Agency) have funded a number of projects where SatSense has engaged with partners and customers to develop products to solve industry-specific challenges. If you would like to discuss a funding opportunity please get in touch! Network Rail have been working with SatSense to understand the capability and limitations of a network-wide InSAR monitoring system for hazardous movements, to compare InSAR with traditional measurements, and to classify at-risk sections of track. Severn Trent Water have engaged with SatSense via an ESA project to determine where in their pipeline network is most likely to fail, and to assist with the operational response. SatSense have also assisted their project team during a treatment plant expansion project. Groundsure provide environmental risk search reports to the property conveyancing market. A number of their reports contain SatSense risk scores which are derived from our ground movement data, to indicate likelihood of subsidence-related issues on buildings. United Utilities have engaged SatSense for asset monitoring, using InSAR data to supplement traditional on-site measurements, gaining a greater perspective of movements, and to alert to increases in potentially hazardous movement rates. In one project, Aecom helped to determine the suitability of an area of land for development of a waste water treatment plant using our data and interpretation. We were able to provide assurances on the stability of the ground despite its proximity to historic coal mines. National Highways are working with SatSense to determine the best way to use InSAR on Britain's Strategic Road Network. We've provided data, filtered products and some insight into where InSAR is likely to work or not. The British Geological Survey have been using SatSense's data to measure movement at various sites across the UK, such as landslides. We also periodically collaborate on research projects and papers. Northumbrian Water have engaged with SatSense via an ESA project to determine where in their pipeline network is most likely to fail, and to assist with the operational response. SatSense have also assisted their project team during a treatment plant expansion project.
