OUR PEOPLE




JOHN

John was a member of RBC Royal Bank for 30+ years, and worked within the
Commercial and Retail Banking lines of business, first as a sales professional
and then subsequently as a Sales Leader and Executive Officer of RBC. As a Sales
Executive, John gained a great deal of experience throughout Canada and the
United States as a Regional President with RBC Centura, where he led the
region’s sales network in North Carolina and South-East Virginia.

John also lead RBC’s Canadian Banking National Performance and Capacity
Management Team. The goal of this team was to ensure a high level of day to day
and ongoing performance reporting analytics aimed at supporting sales coaching
routines, as well as providing field management with the tools to support better
alignment of resources against growth markets across the country. John is
married, with four children and lives in Port Credit, just outside of the
greater Toronto area.

Nagy Moustafa is an experienced venture capital investor and entrepreneur with
an extensive record of building business ideas from conception to successful
exits. His international experience includes ownership across several portfolio
companies based in Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.

Nagy has a passion for communications security and is currently the Executive
Chairman and major shareholder of several successful technology and telecoms
companies including Toronto-based Gryphon Secure, Swiss-based Sysmosoft and
Agora. He is currently the CEO, Chairman, and major shareholder of Toronto-based
InfoSec Global. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Nagy held senior positions
in technology at Rogers Communications in Toronto. He is an active member of The
World Presidents Organization.


MARK

Mr. Minevich is a highly regarded and trusted Digital Cognitive Strategist,
Artificial Intelligence expert, Venture Capitalist, and the principal founder of
Going Global Ventures. Mark collaborates and advises large global enterprises
both in the US and Japan (Hitachi), and is the official AI and Future of Work
Advisor to the Boston Consulting Group. Currently, he serves as the strategic
advisor and Global ambassador to the CEO and Chairman of New York based IPsoft
Inc.  Mark holds the role of senior fellow as part of the U.S. Council on
Competitiveness in Washington, D.C., and maintains a position as senior adviser
on Global Innovation and Technology to the United Nations Office of Project
Services (UNOPS). He is an appointed member of the G20/B20’s Digital Task Force,
supplementing the group with expert knowledge on digitization, advanced
autonomous systems, and the future of AI.

Mark is also the founder and Co-Chair of the World Artificial Intelligence
Organization and AI Pioneers based in New York, and was appointed as the Global
Digital Ambassador to the World Assessment Council in early 2020. He is the
Strategic Advisor to SwissCognitive - "independent" Global AI think-tank in
Switzerland, which aims to share, connect, and unlock the fullest potential of
Artificial Intelligence.  

Forbes named Mark one of the Leaders to Watch in 2017. He has received the
Albert Einstein Award for Outstanding Achievement and the World Trade Leadership
Award from the World Trade Centers and World Trade Center’s Association. Mark
has served as a venture partner with GVA Capital in Silicon Valley, advising the
fund on AI startups. He has also served as venture advisor to Global Emerging
Markets, an alternative investment group that manages a diverse set of
investment vehicles. Mark was also involved with Research Board, a Gartner
company and international think-tank advising CIOs at some of the world’s
largest corporations, such as: Deutsche Bank, BTM Corporation, Geotek
Communications, Qwest Communications, Comcast, and USWEB/CKS.

ANDREW

A retired soldier with over 35 years of varied experiences in senior leadership
and policy positions responsible for teams ranging in size from 10 to 55,000
people. While in the Army, he had command experience both at home and overseas
at Sub-Unit, Regimental, Brigade, Area, Joint Task-force and Army levels,
including a variety of missions with the UN and NATO. Staff positions included
duties focused on human resources management, equipment requirements,
operational planning, administration and support, and strategy.

His final years with the Canadian Armed Forces were as the Army Commander and he
served in that capacity for four years at the height of the most recent Afghan
War. His last job in uniform was as the Chief of Transformation, where he worked
with a wonderful team that produced the 2011 Report on Transformation. On
retirement from the military he has worked for a variety of corporations, and is
active on several charitable and corporate boards.
