ABOUT US

Welcome to 312th Virtual Fighter Wing! We are a dynamic and rapidly growing
squadron dedicated to providing an immersive and enjoyable flight simulation
experience. Founded in December 2022, we have quickly established ourselves as a
community of like-minded aviation enthusiasts, coming together to conquer the
virtual skies. Our primary focus is on creating semi-realistic operations that
allow our members to explore the thrill and complexity of military aviation.
While we strive for realism, we also understand the importance of maintaining a
balance between realism and accessibility, ensuring that pilots of all skill
levels can enjoy flying with us.




SCHEDULE

As a primarily UK-based squadron, our operations are scheduled in the evenings
around 19:30 GMT/BST (adjusted for daylight saving time). However, we are
committed to inclusivity and recognize the value of having members from various
time zones. Therefore, we also host additional operations at different times
throughout the week, making sure everyone has an opportunity to join in the
action.




WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE FLY

At Nemesis Squadron, there are numerous roles and positions available to suit a
wide range of interests and skill sets. Currently, we are actively recruiting
pilots for F-18, F-16, F-14, F-15e. Additionally, we welcome Mission Designers,
, and LotATC Controllers to enhance the depth and excitement of our missions.




PREREQUISITES AND RECOMMENDATIONS

To ensure smooth coordination and communication during operations, we require
the use of SRS (Simple Radio Standalone) for effective radio communication.
Pilots are expected to have HOTAS (Hands-On Throttle and Stick) setups for a
more realistic flight experience. However, if you fulfill the roles of RIO, CPG,
or WSO, keyboards are accepted. For an even more immersive experience, we highly
recommend the use of headtracking or VR technology. It adds a new dimension to
your virtual flying, allowing you to look around the cockpit and maintain
situational awareness like never before. In terms of recommended DLC, we suggest
acquiring the Supercarrier DLC, which expands the capabilities of the F-14 and
F-18 aircraft. Additionally, maps like Persian Gulf and Syria offer diverse and
challenging environments for our operations.




OPPORTUNITIES AND INCLUSIVITY

proficiency, from novices looking to learn the ropes to seasoned veterans honing
their skills. To support our members' growth, our experienced Flight Training
Officers conduct regular training sessions tailored to specific airframes and
missions. We also have an exclusive 'Advanced Pilot Program' designed to
recognize and reward our top pilots who have achieved the relevant
qualifications.
