Contact Lenses can correct most vision anomalies, with numerous options
available for individual needs and lifestyles. Contact Lenses correct myopia,
hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia. To buy contact lenses you must have a
valid prescription (not older than 24 months) for the contact lenses that you
are ordering. If you have not had a vision test for over 2 years you may have a
problem with your eyes that you are not aware of and your contact lenses may not
provide you with optimum vision.

Contact Lenses are considered a medical device and a prescription from a
qualified optometrist is required. Different contact lenses can be made from
different materials resulting in slightly different optics and different fit on
the eyeball. For example if you wear Purevision in -2.00 when you change to
another brand say Acuvue 2 your prescription would change to -1.75 or perhaps
even -1.50 depending on your eyes.

Order the exact brand and lens name prescribed for you never attempt to switch
contact lens brands, this is only acceptable in some instances such as in house
branding when the contact lenses are identical but are packaged specifically for
a company.

If you wish to change contact lens brands we recommend you are fitted for new
lenses by your optometrist, he/she will be able to give you free trials to try
and will also call you back so that the fit of the lenses can be checked after
you have had them in your eyes for a day or two, this is important if you want a
good fitting lens that does not damage your eyes in any way.
