If you have received a provincial violation ticket, you have received either an Offence Notice or a Summons. For more information on the difference between these types of tickets, please visit the Information on Provincial Violation Tickets page. By making a voluntary fine payment, you are pleading guilty to the offence charged against you on the ticket. If you do not wish to plead guilty, follow the instructions on the ticket or call the number at the bottom of the ticket during business hours. If you are paying more than one ticket, a separate payment must be entered for each ticket. Payments will not be properly processed unless entered individually. Late Payment Charge On Offence Notices, if the fine amount is not paid within 30 days of the court imposed due date (not the voluntary payment date) a late payment charge will be added to the fine. For further information, please contact a Provincial Court Office during business hours. Notice of Conviction Letter If you have received a Notice of Conviction letter, you are paying after the court date. The Notice of Conviction letter provides a due date for your fine, and if applicable, the amount of the late payment fee. It is your responsibility to ensure that both the ticket amount and late payment fee is paid in full.
