You Will

Take on the role of Director of Contract Manufacturing, leading a team of
approximately 15 employees in the CMO group. As the head of the group, you will
be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations and
ensuring the successful execution of projects according to client agreements and
budgets. Your role will involve collaborating with business development and
technical experts to prepare manufacturing offers and communicate with clients
regarding the technical aspects of manufacturing. You will assemble project
teams and work closely with the portfolio of specialists to ensure project
success. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment,
participating in audits, troubleshooting production issues, and overseeing the
commissioning of new equipment. Strategic leadership and operational excellence
will be key, as you develop and implement a vision for the CMO unit, identify
market trends and opportunities, and establish strong relationships with
stakeholders. Financial management, team leadership, and talent management will
also be important aspects of your role as you manage budgets, drive financial
performance, and foster a positive work environment for your team.

 

You’ll Join

A trusted strategic partner in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. This
exceptional organization creates customized and innovative research and
manufacturing service solutions, supporting companies in their development and
production of recombinant proteins. With access to state-of-the-art facilities,
you will work with a Danish government-approved Research and Technology
Organization, collaborating with their Contract Manufacturing and Contract
Research Organizations. Surrounded by highly skilled colleagues, your personal

You Have

 * A relevant education like M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree within e.g., biochemistry,
   protein chemistry or process technology.
 * At least 8+ years of documented experience in a protein/biologics CMO.
 * Proven experience (8+ years) in a leadership role within the biotech,
   pharmaceutical, or contract manufacturing industry.
 * Strong knowledge and understanding of biologics manufacturing, recombinant
   proteins, and associated regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
 * Demonstrated success in developing and executing profitable manufacturing
   strategies, driving operational excellence, and achieving financial targets.
 * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the
   ability to inspire and motivate teams.
 * Sound business acumen and ability to make strategic decisions in a rapidly
   evolving industry.
 * Track record of building and nurturing relationships with clients, partners,
   and industry stakeholders.
 * Proficient skills in financial management, budgeting, and cost optimization.
 * Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
 * A familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., GMP) and industry best
   practices
