At the Technical University of Crete, innovation knows no bounds. That’s why we
proudly present Start (Student Innovation Group) established in 2023 – a
dedicated team committed to nurturing the brilliant minds of undergraduate
students. Our mission is to foster innovation, provide mentorship, and offer
unwavering support to the next generation of pioneers and disruptors.

In close collaboration with the esteemed Indigo (Industrial and Digital
Innovation Research Group), we’re at the forefront of innovation. Our team is a
unique blend of academic brilliance and real-world innovation, combining the
enthusiasm and fresh perspectives of undergraduate students with the wisdom and
experience of our seasoned mentors.




INDIGO

The Industrial and Digital Innovations Research Group is a multi-disciplinary
team of researchers, led by Assoc. Prof. George Arampatzis, engaged in research
and academic activities at the School of Production Engineering and Management
of the Technical University of Crete.

Our team carries out applied research and development that traverse four
pillars, Process Engineering, Circular Economy, Environmental Engineering and
Digital Innovation, applied to various production and supply systems incl.
Industrial, Agricultural, Energy and Water.
