INGREDIENTS



 * Wings – Use whole wings or cut the wings in half. Both are find for this
   recipe.

 * Garlic Puree – I always have a jar of homemade garlic puree, but you can use
   a tablespoon of garlic powder.

 * Adobo – Adobo imparts delicious flavor without overpowering the wings and
   balances the flavor of chicken and seasoning really well.

SUBSTITUTIONS AND VARIATIONS

 * Adobo – If you do not have adobo, use salt and pepper to season or general
   purpose seasoning.

 * Chicken – You can also use chicken thighs in place of the wings.

 * Garlic – Use garlic puree, finely minced garlic or garlic powder.

 * Air Fryer – If you prefer to use your air fryer for this recipe, feel free to
   do so as they are just delicious and cook to crispy perfection.


INSTRUCTIONS




Step 1: Adjust your oven rack to middle position and preheat the oven to 425° F.

Step 2: Rinse the wings under cool running water. Allow excess water to rinse
off of wings. Place wings in a medium sized mixing bowl.

Step 3: Add the garlic puree and rub all over wings. Lightly sprinkle adobo on
both sides. Top the wings with the teaspoon of the oregano and rub all
throughout the wings (Image 1).



Step 4: Lay the wings skin side up on a baking sheet or other baking tray (Image
2). Bake on the upper middle rack.

Step 5: After 30 minutes, flip the wings over. (The total cook time will depend
on the size of your wings but can take up to 45 minutes. Image 3).





EXPERT COOKING TIPS

 * Baking: Ensure crispy wings and even cooking by preheating the oven before
   you start cooking.

 * Do Not Cover: For optimal crispy skin, refrain from covering the wings with
   aluminum foil during cooking. Let them bask in the direct heat of the oven to
   achieve that perfect crunch.

 * Cooking in Air Fryer: Arrange the wings in a single layer inside the air
   fryer basket. Set the temperature to 425°F and cook for 8 minutes. Then, flip
   the wings over and cook for an additional 8 minutes or until they are fully
   cooked and golden brown.

 * ▢ 3½ lb wings rinsed
 * ▢ adobo sprinkled
