LAEC IN PHILADELPHIA
The Sixth Annual Concert of LAS AMERICAS EN CONCIERTO (LAEC) was presented in
Philadelphia in collaboration with Esther Boyer College of Music, Temple
University. The outstanding pianist, CHARLES ABRAMOVIC, performed my
composition, Tres Piezas Breves para piano, as well as a selection of
extraordinary compositions from Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Canada, Colombia,
Bolivia, Uruguay, Chile and the United States. Rock Hall, Temple University,

States.

VOX N PLUX performed Calma mi niño, the third song of Horizontes, tres cantos de
cuna para todos, at the concert "Small is Beautiful" at the Third Street Music
School on 12/3/17.

Horizontes, tres cantos de cuna para todos (Horizon, Three Lullabies for
Everybody), based on texts written by Charles Ives and Augusta Ives, received
its world premiere by Vox n Plux at the Fifth Annual Concert of LAEC.

Desde El Aire: Seis Instantes (From the Air: Six Instants) concert on June 26,
2017 at La Casa del Pozo en Guanajuato, México, on July 15, 2017 at the Sala
Mazahua, Espacio Cultural, México and at the Museo Iconográfico del Quijote,
Centro de Arte y Cultura, Guanajuato on July 6, 2017. Ana Cervantes performed
this composition in New York City on September 19, 2017 at Christ and St.
Stephen's Episcopal Church and at Union University, New Jersey on September 25,
